Water Street Lounge is definitely a great local spot, and the new management with different vibes make it a go to spot! Don’t pay attention to the old reviews — the lounge has completely transformed and is now one of the best spots in town.
Weekends are always a vibe with live DJs spinning hip-hop, RnB, reggae, and more. The energy is always good, the crowd is grown and chill, and the music keeps the night moving. Plus, the drink specials are amazing — you really can’t beat the value and atmosphere.
If you’re looking for a laid-back lounge with great music, quality drinks, and a fresh new feel, Water Street is the place to be. Highly recommend checking it out!

OMG! Pork belly cooked perfectly on a bed of braised kale and grits! A new New Year’s tradition. We lucked out to have a beautiful day where we could sit outside in their groovy patio. My husband enjoyed the people watching and hanging out. A great place to meet up with friends for a quick bite or specialty brew. A special thanks to our server Petra for the food suggestions!

Stopped by for lunch on a whim. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the afternoon sun with the overhead heaters. They have cheerwine available and a labeled menu with a lot of gluten free and dairy free options! Had great deviled eggs and enjoyed the GF Mac n cheese. Would definitely go back again. The sparkling lemonade was also really great!

We stopped here because their courtyard is adorable, but we were blown away by their delicious food! We got the black lentil fritters to start, so crispy and yummy. I got the shrimp bisque and a small kale salad, my husband got the grits bowl with veggies skewer. Everything was so well seasoned and tasty! They offer vegan and gluten free options as well as non-vegan fare. Highly recommend stopping.

The decor brought us in, and the food kept us for a while! I have a decent amount of food allergies and they were really accommodating and made a special meal for me, which I ended up ordering 2 of because it was Soooo good. Fresh biscuit with over easy eggs, avocado, pico, cheese, and sweet potato hash. Super friendly staff, great vibe especially the outdoor seating with the lanterns and the plants. Our server was Emma and she took amazing care of us and my dietary needs. Highly recommend!

Amazing. They hosted 22 of us, and were so attentive. Great food (delicious) and drink selection. Meals accommodate most diet preferences. They have a beautiful, heated outdoor space that I just love. We will definitely return. Thanks for making our party so great.

I was having a BIG french fry craving but so many places had long waits. I saw that this place had tater tots so I thought, “What hell- I’ll give this place a try”. OMG! This place has the best tater tots I’ve ever had in my life!!! I’m so happy that I couldn’t get into other places because otherwise, I would have never found this restaurant. Everyone here was so nice and I can’t wait to go back! I have a gluten allergy and I’m mostly vegan- this place seems to have quite a few nice options. If you don’t feel like eating a meal here, for the love of god, get some of those tater tots!!!

Awesome food, cocktails, location and staff. We loved having brunch in the courtyard, great vegan options too, we had the vegan tot mess and some margaritas and it was delightful. New spot too so it wasn’t crowded with tourist.

Located on Lexington Ave in downtown Asheville. Small venue with some of the best local and regional dj’s. Several weekly ongoing events. Great staff behind the bar and the unfriendly manager has been replaced. Great Sunday, family-friendly daytime events, too. It’s worth checking out if you’re tired of ratchet vibes just a few doors down. Late night food available (directly above at the static age bar), too!
