This truck is in such a nice food truck park! I ordered the chicken pad Thai. You can choose the protein and spice level. The owner recommended going for the mild option, and I’m glad I listened. I enjoy spicy food but also deal with acid reflux, so I thought mild was the perfect amount of spicy. The only thing that was missing was the cilantro. Overall, it was one of the better pad Thai’s I’ve tried.

Arguably the best, authentic Thai food in town. Every dish I tried so far has been rich, flavorful, and “Thai” – Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, green curry, pork belly… This is my 4th visit over 15 months and the food quality has been consistently great.

The pad kee mao with chicken was vibrant and spicy. I really enjoyed the texture of the noodles, even after a long travel. The taste was strong too. I’m going to go back to try more of this food truck’s dishes. Hopefully I can enjoy the seating area too.

I got the panang curry and a Thai iced tea. The iced tea was excellent. The service was friendly and quick. The area has many pleasant places to eat. The curry was fine but not great. The sauce had good flavor but the meat was sparse and boiled-tasting, not flavorful. The veggies were cut too large and a little undercooked. Also, it was served in containers that made it hard to eat – a small styrofoam (any other material would be better) for the rice without room to add the curry. So, I did enjoy it, because the sauce had good flavor, but I wouldn’t get the curry again.

My favorite Thai in Austin. Basil Fried Rice is ALWAYS good. Great, fast service, and if the folks in your party don’t like Thai, there are several other food trucks near.

Very yummy and great portions! The prices were better than expected. I ordered the spicy panang curry, I should’ve gone one more spicy but it was still a really good spice level. I also ordered the veggie egg rolls. I’m excited to try more!

You can’t go wrong with this food truck. It’s great food at a very reasonable price. The staff are super friendly and will happily make your dish to order. I wanted the Veggie Lovers but wanted a little more spice — it was no problem at all. And the food came out quick! We’ll definitely be back.

BEST Thai food my partner and I have had anywhere (including our visits to Los Angeles, and even including my brother’s home cooking— he used to live in Thailand for awhile and is an excellent cook). The flavors are off-the-hook here, truly fabulous, and the high quality is delightfully consistent. Love this food so much! It’s our go-to Thai food source now. We are really grateful to have found it!! (The owner is great too— personable and helpful, and clearly is passionate about his culinary calling.) HIGHLY recommend!

I don’t know what “Wat Zab” means in Thai lingo, but the food here is delicious. I tried both the Pad See Ew (with chicken) and Pad Woon Sen (with pork). I loved it. They’ll add as much spice as you want.

Was really hoping to try the food here, but was rudely greeted by a man who said in a very crass tone that they were closed due to having a large amount of orders. He barely made eye contact with me and shooed me away with his hands. Instead, he could have apologize and calmly say that they can’t take anymore orders because you could have to wait over an hour. He definitely made me felt like a beggar for free food. Very poor way of doing business.
