Fun Happy Hour at Hillsboro Wasabi. My chicken dumplings were definitely made from scratch with a fine sweet soy sauce. Dining partners said the coconut shrimp only hinted at coconut, the crispy chicken was over the top for flavor and texture and fish tacos as expected. Good prices, wonderful service, tidy restrooms and ample parking make this a good value.

So fresh it tastes like summer here year round! Make sure to try that tuna tataki and the tuna ceviche. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. My favorite roll was the Orange Dragon with a citrus touch. They also have a full bar. The wasabi mule is a must and they have different types of sake. At wasabi there’s something for every day of the week too so look out for their specials. The inside is very trendy and the service is impeccable.

Good sushi. Maybe not great. But solid. Loved that they provided piles of tasty ginger and plenty of wasabi. Their drink menu looked really interesting but we were there for lunch and no drinks were enjoyed.
Salad rolls were really tasty and included pickled asparagus! The peanut sauce, however was super sweet and smooth… like a sundae topping drizzle… Not our preferred style of peanut sauce, but some are gonna love it.
This place is huge! Seating on two sides with a nice bar area and outdoor tables.

Great restaurant that is popular with the locals. The service is excellent with a friendly well trained staff. The fish was very fresh and has a large selection of rolls that will surely please everyone. Perfect date spot, for a family or a arge group. Beers are cold and cocktails are well balanced.

We got 4 different sushi rolls and all of them were unremarkable, their rolls were mushy and bland and there wasn’t a lot to distinguish one roll from the next. Fish was very low quality. Price is insane for the quality, over 7 dollars for two pieces of low quality salmon nigiri.
Presentation was pretty but there’s no point in making the food look good if I’m just going to wish i had gone anywhere else due to the taste.
Drinks were okay, the Lychee Blossom was great but everything else we tried was just palatable.
The restaurant also just looks closed.

The food is decent.
Went with safe ordering.
Chicken Wings tasted like Costco microwaved with good sauce.
Sushi was made fresh with good flavor.
I might go back. Pricing is on the low end.

One of my favorite places to hop on. They have excellent variety of options to choose from, great sushi selections, and their fish tacos were amazing. They do have Thursday specials happy hour which run for an entire day. Right from the starters edamame to tacos/fried rice, everything were excellent.

Sushi is a bit on the pricier side, but it’s definitely worth it. The fish is FRESH. It just melts in your mouth, similar to a buttery texture. The quality of the ingredients is superb, and it will prove itself on your palate. Once you’ve had good sushi, you’ll know it when you taste it. The Katsu was a perfect crunch and crisp. Crunchy and golden, such a pleasure visually and aesthetically. If you like mushrooms, you need to try the mushroom soup!! I insist. Full of flavor, big body, and creamy. This meal was an experience, one of the best sushi places I’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. The only reason why it didn’t receive a 5 is it’s rather expensive, and it will be a special occasion basis if I were to return, or rather, when I return.

I like the calamari sticks and the shrimp, both fried to my likeness, crispy and crunchy! Went on the happy hour and the prices were so reasonable. The place is clean and easy to find. Accommodating staff is a plus!

We were the only ones in here. A year ago at this time the bar was full. Sad we thought they were closed. Ordered the $10 wings and beer special. I do not recommend the wings, they were so burned they were black – had they not have been so burnt they would have been tasty. Sesame chicken was good, could’ve been a little warmer. Sushi was mediocre. Usually they have good music playing. The music was old school slow twangy country which made it more depressing to be here. Service was good as it should be as we were the only ones here.
