First time here today, and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this place is! Got served right away, didn’t take long to get our food, either. I had the chicken strip platter. The fries were amazing! The chicken was a bit tough and chewy, but was still good with a side of ranch to dip it in! Drinks are amazing too! Overall a good experience!
Update: second time here, despite the heat the food and service is still good! Had a chicken caesar wrap and it was very good! Wasn’t too large of a portion size, either. I really liked that! Also killer gooey butter cake for dessert!

Always a hotspot for family! Stopped in for dinner and do not disappoint! Food was hot and fresh and delicious. I usually get the fried chicken and chili mac and family varies each time. But portions are huge and tastes excellent! If in Columbia Illinois I would definitely stop in and check out. Have drink specials and days of the week specials too.

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner scheduled at another restaurant but a small fire that morning left us scrambling to find another place to accommodate 30 hungry people.
The staff at Washy’s Pub to the rescue. With short notice, they prepared several tables, brought in extra staff and were ready for us when we arrived.
Even better, the food was truly excellent and well-priced. The restaurant was spotless, and the staff were understanding and amazingly helpful.
I’d like to offer a very sincere THANK YOU to the folks at Washy’s Pub. We were in a bind and you not only came through for us, you went above and beyond to make it a great night.

The test of truth if a pub is really a pub, for me, is not necessarily the booze (Whisky) selection, but if they serve a great fish and chips.
Oh, and Washy’s Pub certainly did. The hand bread cod fish was delish. I liked that they made their tartar sauce in-house too. I used it for both the fish and fries.
The coleslaw was okay… Just needed a bit more pepper to perk it up. Overall, great Pub find in Columbia, Illinois and on the main stretch, so it was easy to find.

I’m still trying to process the sheer disgust I felt after dining at Washy’s Pub last night. The moment we walked in, it was clear that cleanliness wasn’t even on their radar.
The floors were sticky, the tables were grimy, and the smell of stale grease hung heavy in the air. But we were hungry and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. BIG MISTAKE.
Our server seemed completely disinterested in our presence, and it took an eternity to get our orders taken. When the food finally arrived, I was appalled
We immediately asked to speak to the manager, who seemed utterly unconcerned by our complaints. No apology, no offer to comp our meal or provide a discount. Just a shrug and a “sorry to hear that.”
Needless to say, we will never be back. In fact, I’d advise anyone who values their health and sanity to steer clear of this dump. Washy’s Pub is a breeding ground for bacteria and a slap in the face to the very concept of cleanliness.
Save your stomach (and your dignity) and eat somewhere – anywhere –

Decided to try out Washy’s pub today, Just left the pub and my first impression was how clean the restaurant was! The service was great, very nice and respectful people. My son had the cheese burger, husband had the bologna sandwich, and I had the blackened chicken- let’s just say there wasn’t nothing left on our plates. I would highly recommend coming and trying this pub out! We will see you guys again!!

We had our morning networking event here and ordered a family style breakfast. Jess was so helpful getting everything organized for us! We all had a wonderful time! The food was ready for us when we got there and it was delicious! There was plenty for everyone and lots of leftovers, which I brought back with me to work. I was very popular in the office! They took great care of us and we got a full breakfast spread for $10 per person. Wonderful! I highly recommend!
