Such a great experience! This is a small, clearly family-owned restaurant that feels welcoming the moment you walk in. The food was excellent. We had sushi, sashimi, and sake, and everything was fresh and beautifully prepared.
Our waitress was incredibly kind, happy to answer our questions, and truly made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back!

First time having sushi since I was a teenager I was so excited and happy that my husband brought me here and I also got to try so much different bobas and got to take a boba drink to go! The sushi boat was served so beautiful and the ramen was amazing its a new favorite and I will try to go every month or maybe every payday! Everyone was so kind and so happy! The place felt so welcoming and relaxing!

After expending a my day seem the surrounded areas of Bemidji, beautiful town. I stop downtown found wasabi it was delicious my dish was barbiturates pork bowl I eat it all.
And I really enjoy my dinner mi crispy sushi. So I love it. Will be one of my road trips stop every time.

We recently went here for sushi and were pretty disappointed overall. The restaurant itself is very small, and the menus were confusing and not clearly written.
We ordered a sushi boat with three rolls and specifically asked our waiter if we could choose which rolls came on the boat. He told us yes, so we selected them. When the food started coming out, we received three rolls not on a boat. We asked the waiter if those were meant to be part of the boat, and he said yes and that the boat was still coming, which was confusing.
When the boat finally arrived, it had items we did not order. We flagged down a different waitress to explain that we were told we could choose the rolls, and she simply said “it’s chef’s choice” and walked away. There seemed to be a clear language barrier between the staff and customers, and no effort was made to clarify or resolve the situation.
At that point, we wanted to leave as soon as possible. We asked for a large to-go container but were given two small containers that barely fit the sushi. On top of that, the crab used was imitation crab, which was disappointing given the prices.
Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing, mainly due to unclear communication and lack of resolution.

I had high hopes for this restaurant based on the high reviews, but I was met with such disappointment.
Let’s start with the dish I ordered. I ordered sesame chicken with peach boba tea. The sesame chicken was hard on the outside, and it basically looked like frozen chicken nuggets that they reheated and added sauce on it. Dish didn’t look authentic and tasted flavorless. As for the peach boba tea, it did not look like the image posted online on their website. Very misleading. The drink was NOT tea and it was basically milk based. There was no peach flavor and it was very very very sweet. I could not finish the food and the drink.
Also, my server didn’t come over to check up on me despite the fact that it wasn’t that busy.
If you want Asian food and boba tea in Bemidji, I recommend Kin Poke.

Moved here from Denver Colorado. This is one of best sushi/Ramen places we have found out here. Drove 1 hour 45 mins and will do so every month just for this food! Highly recommended for a casual meal or special date meal. 11/10.

I tried the tonkotsu ramen. Why was the broth yellow? Why did it taste like butter and kraft mac n cheese? Service was wonderful, but our table was sticky, and seemed to get stickier after they wiped it down for us. Might try again in a few summers if they survive…
