Wasabi Teppanyaki & Sushi Bar

Food was okay – the sauce on the sushi & other dishes appears to be the same, resulting in a variety of dishes that started to taste the same. You can see in my photos that 3 of 4 dishes are covered in the same sauce. It can come off as a bit too salty.

Service was good, just that it took a while for food.

Our waiter was very nice and attentive, and the food was decent, me and my friend weren’t the biggest fans of the dressing on our salads. it was too salty for us but everything else was delicious. The atmosphere was very cozy and warm.

We had a group of us for my brother’s birthday, food was great! But the older lady that ‘served’ us was rude, impatient, and forgot a few of our orders and drinks. I enjoy this place but she made it a really bad experience for my brother’s birthday.

Sushi was luke warm and fish tasted awful, like it’s been sitting out with no ice or was in a cool temp. controlled environment. Ordered two sushi dinners, one sake, and 1 glass of white wine and the total was $72.77. They have a service fee that you don’t know about until you get your bill. Very pricey for a casual, low quality restaurant.

We had habatchi, only reason I gave it a 4 star for service was because they were short staffed. Our reservation was pushed back 1 hour due to over booking. We had to wait a whole nother hour and 15 mins to be served from the cook. In between the waitress was coming around as well.

Overall, the food was great. Show from the cook was wonderful. Would go back again at a different time when they’re not short staffed.

Food is amazing here! We’ve tried the fried rice, udon noodles, and many sushi rolls and everything has had great flavor and decent portions. There are some different and unique sushi rolls that were some of the best rolls we’ve had! Even the egg drop soup seemed homemade and was so delicious!!

Came here on opening day, it was hectic and not well planned. A long time later I’m back and I’m happy I am. Had an amazing habachi chef with amazing tasting food! Will be back as many times as I can now. Ask for Raul, great chef!

Don’t be fooled by the looks of it from the street view! It’s clean and beautiful on the inside! The ambiance is great for anyone whether you’re eating alone, on a date, or family lunch/dinner. The restrooms are clean and well kept. The staff are attentive and beautifully kind. The fish are generously sliced! The price is affordable for what they offer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

So we are not from the area but have been to multiple teppanyaki restaurants. The flavor of the food was decent but it was nothing like we are used to. The salad did not come with the ginger dressing. Fried rice is an add on, if they have it that night. Our reservations were at 7:30 and we finally left there at 9:45. Our cook was very friendly and the food was pretty good but he only made small portions of the food at one time. Half our table actually left because it took so long. The steak was by far better the chicken and the sushi was excellent. But I will warn you. There was no yum yum sauce. And no ginger sauce. They also charge 2.5% of you use a card to pay for your meal.
