Vegan friendly, vegetarian friendly. Wife and me and a great time. I have it four stars just cause felt like tht food was always missing that one little thing to make it five lol.

Spicy edamame – added spicy on top rather then mixed in
Stone pot – it was amazing, just little hot (temperature). Burned my tongue eating it lol
Creme brulee – delicious, just little more crunch on top needed

Overall everything was amazing, we’ll go back for sure. Charlie and Mike are perfect staff members.

P.S bear is not part of the restaurant but the neighborhood, Just go for a beautiful walk around the corner.

At first I was nervous to order form this place because I saw some bad reviews especially from people who ordered through doordash, which I did. But this was really good . Not only was it good but it was fast prepared and correct . I had modifications for both my sushi rolls and they were honored and I asked for extra ginger and wasabi and they did not mess around like there was so much which I appreciated, also they remembered my spicy Mayo both things. I got a Philadelphia roll , crab Rangoon , and a tuna roll. All really good fresh the way I asked. I’ll be ordering again and stoping in.

We really enjoy ordering from this restaurant. The food is always fresh, and the sushi is so good. We love that you can get Japanese and Chinese food. Everything that we have ordered has always been good. Everyone is always kind too! It is one of our go to places!

Excellent food, delicious nachos but very spicy. My children ordered chicken noodles; the portions were enough for both of them.

We order from here about once a week and usually have a great experience, which is why tonight was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, after this experience we likely won’t be ordering again.

We typically get the sushi, which has always been excellent. Tonight we decided to try their Chinese and Thai dishes instead and ordered the Panang curry with chicken, beef and broccoli, chicken and broccoli, and shrimp fried rice.

The Panang chicken was completely inedible and had to be thrown away. It contained many random chunks, and the overwhelming smell and taste of fish sauce (which should be used in moderation) made it impossible to eat. The chicken in the chicken and broccoli was extremely tough, we couldn’t even cut it with a knife, and it was mostly tendons.

We’ve spent many birthdays and date nights here enjoying their amazing sushi boats, so this was very disappointing. We’re honestly grossed out by tonight’s experience and saddened because this has been a place we truly enjoyed for years. But this is what happens. Im guessing they sold out or are selling out to private equity

What a fun great place. Greeted 15 seconds after we walked in and were seated on the large bar side next to the glass outdoor wall. Andrea our server was fantastic, upbeat, fun spirited, and full of good suggestions after actually listening to what we liked. She checked on us at a perfect non annoying pace. The food was very good. Nigiri was loaded with big buttery pieces of fish. The specialty Red Dragon roll was excellent. I appreciated that there were a lot of good different options without Tempura breading. Only negative, and it wasn’t a huge thing, was the much colder temperature difference sitting next to the outside glass wall, with cold air circulating. Will definitely be back, and hopefully in Andrea’s section!!!

This is my second time stopping in at Wasabi. Both occasions I was served delicious fresh food. But this time, our waiter Mike, made the visit much better by being an awesome server that was attentive and able to make witty food jokes. The poke nachos (pictured) were a unique menu item that had great flavor. Although the basil beef (pictured) didn’t have much basil flavor to it, it was still delicious! One thing to take into consideration with the Korean beef stone bowl (pictured) is that it had a tendency to over cook some of the rice at the bottom. Which is to be expected with any stone or hot plate, but it was still a very good entree! Overall an awesome place and I look forward to visiting again!

After reading numerous positive reviews, my wife and I decided to dine at Wasabi Restaurant & Bar on a Friday evening. We were seated at the far end of the room near a large TV, which didn’t bother us much.

Drinks:
I was disappointed to find that they didn’t have Macallan 12, my preferred choice. On the server’s recommendation, I tried a different Old Fashioned, which was just okay. My wife, however, thoroughly enjoyed her lychee martini and even ordered a second one.

Appetizers:
We started with gyoza and edamame. Both were decent but didn’t particularly stand out.

Main Courses:
My wife ordered the Korean beef stone bowl rice and found it satisfactory, though she mentioned that the spice level could have been more pronounced. I opted for the Captain Jack Roll, assuming it was a cooked dish. However, it turned out to contain raw salmon. As someone not well-versed in sushi menus, I believe the restaurant should clearly indicate which rolls contain raw ingredients. Unable to eat it, I spoke to our server, Stephanie, who was extremely courteous and promptly replaced it with a combo fried rice. The fried rice was flavorful, but I wasn’t asked about my spice preference and found it to be quite mild.

Service:
Stephanie’s attentive and accommodating service was a highlight of our evening. She handled the situation with professionalism and ensured we were well taken care of.

Overall:
While the evening had its ups and downs, the staff’s responsiveness and my wife’s enjoyable meal balanced out the experience. Clearer menu descriptions and attention to spice preferences would enhance future visits.

Wasabi has great sushi. It’s always fresh and they have so many tasty rolls. One of the best things is the fried avocado. We get that every time we are here, which is often.
