The food was really good here, sashimi was fresh and delicious. The coconut shrimp was a bit too crispy but still tasted fine. The waitress was a bit absent minded. Had to ask her for more and remind her that we hadn’t got certain things. But she was kind about it. It was just a bit annoying. And it was COOOOLD in the restaurant. Next time I’d get to go.

New management from Summer of 2024. A place to go to if you looking for authentic Japanese food. Humble look from outside with prestige food serving. Not the usual local Japanese restaurant you went to. From wasabi to soy sauce, everything is better. Upgraded quality makes every penny you pay extra worth double. I am a local, I am glad that I don’t need to go far to enjoy these quality presentation.

I was passing by when my kid said he was very hungry for sushi, and then I saw this restaurant. It looked very ordinary from the outside, but when I went in it looked clean and elegant. Then I ordered three items for take out. We ordered a sushi platter, a sashimi deluxe, and a hamachi bowl. When I took it home to eat my first reaction was, wow, it was so fresh, and the presentation was very beautiful. The fish was the best part. It tasted very fresh. We will definitely be back for more!

This was some of the best sashimi I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to Japan before, so that says a lot. My favorite was the fatty salmon. The gyoza was cooked to golden perfection and tasted light, not too heavy. I came here with my family, and we all left with happy stomachs. My pictures don’t do the food justice.

Sushi is fantastic here! They also offer lunch menu even on Saturday until 3pm! Price is reasonable, sushi is fresh and they use their own dipping sauce on top of sushi which is very intriguing!! One of them definitely used yuzu sauce. also I don’t usually eat California roll but here is amazing!!

This was our first time and we came on a Friday evening at 7:15 pm so the service was slow due to the high volume of customers. However, the very friendly owner and staff checked on us frequently to refill our drinks. When the sushi came we saw that it was worth the wait. My husband ordered all nigiri and I had chirashi. It was one of the loveliest looking and best tasting chirashi sushi that I’ve ever had. The attention to every detail is clear from the minute you look at the bowl. They are also generous with portions. Notice how the sushi covers the entire surface of the bowl – no bald spots. My husband’s nigiri also included large pieces of fresh fish that melted in your mouth. Both of us were very pleased with our meals. We will definitely come again.

Just had some dinner today. Apparently they’re under new management. The fish is fresher and the menu is updated! We just had a specialty roll and some sashimi. Both were great! They served a home made soy sauce which was delicious! Really excited to try the chef special sashimi and omakase options next!

I used come here all the time growing up but haven’t been in a few years. Apparently it’s new owners as of 5mo ago and the chef used to work at a sushi restaurant in manhattan. The food is fantastic. They have definitely upped their game with a delicious omakase option, crispy rice & great sashimi selection. The fish was super fresh. Toppings on the nigiri were well paired. Staff was super friendly & its byob which is always a plus. Cant wait to come back next time im in town
