Busaba Garden Thai Cuisine is SO good. I tried the Pad Mee Korat, longan juice, chicken satay, and Busaba’s signature rolls and wow, everything was delicious.

As a Thai, I’m usually very picky about Thai food abroad, but this place is truly authentic. The flavors are spot on. The staff are super sweet, and the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming.

Prices are great, not expensive at all. The location is perfect, right by the university. The restaurant is also very cute, cozy, and feels really warm and homie.

Definitely recommend!

I’ve been to this restaurant 45 min before closing. The place was cozy and cute. The atmosphere was good. The service was great. My friends and I loved the tom-yum soup also the thai fried rice. My personal favorite is the mango sticky rice. The places I’ve been use white rice but here they used red rice it was rich in flavor and no need of ice cream to pair the dish itself was so rich in flavor. All in all i loved the food.

Best Thai place in the area, and frankly best one I know. Gotten several dishes now and all of them are good. Most importantly they get the amount of spicy exactly like you ask for. I can’t tell you how long it’s been since I got some perfectly spicy Thai-not crazy hot but still modest. So you can really taste the spicy but not destroy your stomach.. Having stomach issues like I do this is kind of a big deal! (Pics included)

It’s my 8 time here at Busaba Thai Garden Restaurant and I never tire eating their delicious food. My favorite is their papaya salad, spring rolls and curry egg roll. Tom yum soup is very refreshing and comforting in this cold weather. The owners are very friendly and very talented chefs. They are hands on with the preparation of their food, always serving the freshest ingredients. The food is fair priced and their specials is a must try. Hardworking, amazing small business owners. The atmosphere they’ve created is very cute and I love that they have live plants that’s thriving very well.

It took them a while to bring our food out, but we didn’t mind at all. Food was well worth the wait! Thai tea, pad thai, and red curry was so delicious. Our server was also really nice and accommodating. Ambiance and atmosphere was so nice and so cozy. We’ll definitely be coming back.

I came in for their soft opening and everything was amazing! We had the papaya salad, veggie rolls, signature rolls, chicken wings, chicken satay, pad see ew, and black garlic salmon—all so delicious and authentic.

As a fellow Thai person with high standards for Thai food, I was seriously impressed.

I’m also really happy to finally have a Thai restaurant close to home. The owners, Eve
and Armera, are so kind and welcoming—they truly deserve all the support.

We ended with the fried ice cream, and it was the perfect finish. I’ll definitely be back!

Lunch at Busaba Garden was an absolute delight from start to finish! The ambiance was perfectly cozy and inviting, with warm decor that made us feel right at home. Our server, Nida,, provided top-notch, attentive service, making us feel welcomed.
The food was the real star! My basil chicken was incredibly delicious and tasted fresh and authentic. My husband raved about the pad thai, calling it the best he’d ever had in Chicago. Even the simple things, like the starters – veggie soup and papaya salad were simply amazing. At the end of our meal, the lovely chef surprised us with a Thai banana fritter dessert, which was scrumptious! Go to this wonderful restaurant. You won’t be dissapointed. I can’t wait to go back.

Thank you so much Busaba Garden.

I’ve been here multiple times since it opened, and I can confidently say their food is the best ever! The owners Eve and Armera are the sweetest and most welcoming people—it’s always a pleasure to chat with them, they’re so kindhearted and have a passion for what they do. It’s especially touching that their recipes come from home, so nothing feels generic. They even put their own twist on certain dishes, so it feels extra special!

My go-to is the Massaman curry, which you can customize by spice level and protein—I always love pairing it with chicken! I’ve also tried the green curry, sweet roti, and the ice cream with fried banana combo. I’ve dined here with both friends and my mom, so I can’t recall the names of every dish I’ve tasted, but trust me, they’ve all been delicious (I remembered my mom saying she loved the sweet and sour chicken, and the mango sticky rice though!)

There’s a wide variety to choose from, and it’s great for vegetarians too! Their Thai iced tea is the bomb, the strongest and most flavorful I’ve had. It’s incredibly creamy and refreshing, I’ve tried my friend’s dirty Thai that he ordered and it’s so nice too!

The restaurant’s ambiance is colorful and well-lit, and I always feel at ease dining here. I genuinely adore the food—it’s authentic Thai cuisine made with love. I always feel welcomed, and I’m excited to bring more friends to try it out. This place was my introduction to Thai food, and I absolutely love it! Thank you so much for the kind service and hospitality! ^_^

Also for some reason Google won’t let me add photos to review but I’ll try to edit this and see if I can include it- because the dishes are so mouthwatering >_<
Update: I added the pics YAY!

Best Thai I’ve had. Nicest staff from the wait staff to the person that delivered our food. The chef came out to meet us.
We had crab puffs, wings, signature rolls (tasted like potato samosas in the best way), and perfect fried tofu. All the sauces were great. For mains we tried pad see ew, basil chicken with rice, and pad kee mao. You can customize your spice level so each of us was able to have the level of spice we wanted. Everything was so fresh. The fried ice-cream was like vanilla ice cream wrapped in a churro. Highly recommend. Don’t forget to get a Dirty Thai iced!
