Reviews
We rated 4-stars and honestly that feels unfair. It doesn’t feel like a 5-star restaurant… and that’s a good thing. Happy hour prices makes this very affordable if you want a good deal on a very good sushi experience this is the place for you, you will absolutely not be disappointed.
Come check them out for yourself!
The sushi rice lacked any flavor and was completely undercooked.
The bento togo was SMASHED into one container. Everything was soggy and inedible. They forgot the tempura sauce. California roll in the bento absolutely fell apart from the soggy steam.
Tako and Ebi nigiri smelled awful and were inedible. I asked for extra ginger which they failed to provide. The wasabi was not spicy at all.
The edamame had no salt on it and was cold.
The $4 salad is literally 2 bites of spring mix… but online it says that is is iceberg lettuce.
All of it was just absolutely inedible and disgusting. Do not recommend.
We ordered ahead, got there 20-25 minutes later, and no one appeared to be working. The staff were casually carrying on a conversation at the bar while I was waiting at the kiosk. I told them I put in an online order and the lady said she didn’t have it. She looked at the online order receipt and there it was, because they were all sitting at the bar, no one was tending the front of the house. I told her I didn’t have the time to wait and if the order wasn’t ready I needed to cancel the order.
She apologized and asked if I would wait, I said no, I really didn’t have the time. She said she would refund my account, it’s been 3 weeks and I had to go through Chase to get the refund (which took all of 2 automated minutes).
The atmosphere and food was really good in the past, but a customer shouldn’t feel like they’re intruding on your living room or personal time, which is exactly what it felt like waiting there for a couple minutes before I had to speak up. I thought the staff were paying customers the way the were conversating and sitting at the bar.
It was a ghost town in there, I don’t think we’ll be going back and I’m sure the lack of customers was probably a good indication I wasn’t the first person to notice all of this.
