I ordered a border burger and it was so big I used a fork, it had pulled pork and a hamburger patty. Kim was our server and she is excellent and lovely. We also got a rice bowel with black beans. Btw the burritos are massive. If you are going through Rock Springs Wyoming stop here for great food.

Decent place to grab an inexpensive bite to eat. Food is about what you would expect for the prices. Our table didn’t order anything extraordinary, so their top-end menu items like steak or fajitas may be more noteworthy. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Their unsweet tea tasted fantastic, it was fresh and was from a clean urn (as far as I could tell). We’re just traveling through so we won’t have a chance to come back but if we were local I could see it being somewhere we would try on occasion. On a side note, another reviewer commented that the chips and salsa were the worst they had ever had. They are ok, more of a steakhouse style, corn tortilla chip than the thin chips you see are other tex mex places, but not the worst I have ever had by any stretch of the imagination.

Enjoyed our meal at southwest grill. Started with chips and salsa. Chips were thick and crispy and salsa had a hint of cumin… quite good. We then had some chili cheese fries which everyone enjoyed. The fries were beer battered and went well it’s the chili and cheese. For entrees we had a Navajo taco, house burger, house burrito supreme, and whiskey sauce sirloin salad. Standouts were the sauce on the burrito which had some heat and a hint of green chile flavor. Also the whiskey sauce is quite good. It’s sweet and syrupy so it makes a good contrast to savory meats. I could have eaten my salad with no additional dressing. I did add the blue cheese later though which provided a good contrast to the sweetness of the whiskey sauce. We thought all the dishes were excellent and will eat here again.

Happy Hour Margaritas were amazing…and huge! So much food for a terrific price. We took home leftovers enough for a second meal. Our waitress, Danica, was super friendly & attentive. Definitely a positive dining experience!

The food was delicious and we had great service. The burgers were big and juicy and the fries were crispy and yummy. I loved the stuffed Navajo taco. The chili sauce in it was so delicious. They also have good sweet tea and lemonade.

Holy crap, talk about unexpected awesome!

I had the stuffed Indian taco and honestly, I wrote home to mom about it because it was so good.

Completely unexpected awesome is an understatement. I had the lowest expectations and they were exceeded so fast that I had to go to the store to buy some extra expectations because the expectations I had were so insufficient.

100% worth the stop.

Attention Rock Springs residents, all of whom were at this place on a Thursday night: you have seriously got to get some better mexican food. I’m figuring all these good reviews are from the sopapillas (which are actually scones served up with very tasty cinnamon butter). Rice and beans are just plain ugly. My “deluxe” burrito with “award winning” green chile was something from a school cafeteria. If you go here, do yourself a favor – skip dinner and just get the scones, er I mean, sopapillas.

First time here as I’m passing through. After being seated was greeted by a kind bubbly ms Christy. Super friendly and on top of her game for us to have drinks topped and recommended food. Buddy had the carne asada, and I ordered us wagon wheels, queso, and then a rodeo burger. Food was also delicious and on point. Would definitely recommend and come back!

Service was excellente! Did catch her name but she was very nice, friendly, didn’t let my XX get low, and kept checking on me while she had a big party. Chips and salsa was great. Had 3 salsas. And a big O burrito. Excellent experience glad I went.
