Tried going to Byrd’s for breakfast and as usual, they were closed. So we tried Warwick Restaurant across the street and we were pleasantly surprised! Great service and fresh, basic food, breakfast. Can’t go wrong with this place. Down to earth old school goodness. Try it!

This is a cozy neighborhood restaurant where you can enjoy homemade soups and meals. I was excited to see they offered fried chicken livers, which are a favorite of mine; however few place have them on their menus now. They were cooked to perfection and the portion was so large I brought half home. Restaurant was clean, staff friendly and attentive. They also serve Breakfast all day, which is a plus in my book. If you’re in the area stop in for a bite you’ll be glad you did.

Nice friendly locally owned restaurant. Very friendly staff very reasonably priced homemade food. You can get breakfast all day long. Clean well up kept restaurant. Family friendly and lots of locals. Not many of these type of restaurants left these days. The Proprietors and owners have done a wonderful job keeping up the looks of the building on the outside as well as on the inside. Home cooked food enjoy. Recent visit waitress made a mistake on the check I noticed it was a little out of whack but didn’t say anything, however after paying it and seeing a strange look on the owner’s face I tipped and sign the receipt, I was waiting on it to go order after eating but the owner caught the mistake had the server apologize and gave me my money back. The owner is incredibly nice lady.

Food was pretty good I got the corned beef hash. The waitresses were very nice. The self seating was also nice just might be a little difficult to find a good table on a busy day. The atmosphere was nice in the restaurant the decor was a lil dated.

The food and service was excellent! The prices were excellent. The best bang for your buck here for sure! The only thing that was a negative was the bathroom, no locks on the door and in a poor state, needs updating and cleaning. But as long as you don’t need to use the bathroom, it’s a great place to enjoy breakfast. I did not go for lunch or dinner so I can’t speak on it, but I did see the menu had lunch and dinner. Also this restaurant’s parking lot is always full since it’s so small so keep that in mind. Overall good experience

Be prepared to listen to the sound of crashing dishes and silverware. The receptacle for the used dishes is located right in the dining room. The waitresses make no attempt to put the used dishes quietly in the receptacle. In fact, it actually seems as though they are making some kind of point by crashing them in. I mentioned this to our waitress who said, “I know but there is nothing that we can do about this”. When paying I complained to the owner who actually said that she had told her employees to stop doing this, but she could not get them to stop. So, I suggested that if this is so why not move the receptacle out of the dining room and into the kitchen? Maybe they will try harder.

Laura was my waitress… only found out at the end when handed my check cause no one has on a name tag. I had steak n eggs. Asked for scrambled and med rare stk.
Came out well done… couldnt eat it, tried, it was dry and tough. Waitress came back at the end and asked if I wanted a togo box! I said no, even with 3/4 if steak on my plate she didnt ask why. Never asked how food was or I would of told her. Never have I not left a tip. But this service and food wasnt worth it. When paying my check at the register, the oriental man didnt ask either so I paid my 28.92 dollar check and left. Will never return here, will tell everyone about my experience also.

I visited this place for the first time today and it was great! The atmosphere was inviting and the staff gave me the impression they cared for their customers and knew them … by name. I ordered an omelette with sausage, onions, and cheese, with home fries, and rye toast. It was very good and I will definitely be returning! The only thing I will do differently next time is to bring my favorite hot sauce with me.
