They closed the Lenoir location about two years ago, so we decided to come to this one,and I’m so glad we did. For $12.99, the hamburger steak plate comes with a side plus an included, fantastic salad bar that’s very fresh. With them unresitible yeast rolls On top of that, there’s a dessert bar with cobbler, banana pudding, and other treats, all for the same price.
Don’t skip this place. It’s amazing. We’ll definitely keep coming, and please don’t ever close!

It is okay. The steaks were okay. The temperature was perfect on mine. My brothers was over. But they were not really good, Just okay. It seems more country kitchen than steakhouse.

Cashier has a smart mouth. Myself and another elderly customer waited for her to come to the front and she didn’t welcome us. She told me my food would be cold by the time I came back to get it. I was told it would take 10 minutes. I waited 20 outside of the store and five inside. I’ve been had to leave so that I wouldn’t be late for work.. Poor customer service

Visited AJ’s for lunch today and tried the open face steak sandwich and fries. It was excellent! Several pieces of thinly sliced steak with lettuce and tomato along with good, meaty steak fries. Excellent food and service! The only negative was the very cold water for handwashing in the restroom.

We passed by this restaurant and quickly looked at the reviews and decided to give it a try. We were kindly greeted and set by a wonderful waitress. They have a very nice salad bar that was extremely clean. The pulled pork and fried chicken was absolutely delicious.

I always get take out plates from here. I like it cause you can order what you want and go to the bar to fix your own salad or dessert for take out. Food is great and alway satisfying. 2/14/22 The food is still fantastic and you get what you pay for forsure! Food quality has went down. We’re picky what we eat. No pork or fried foods that are fried with shellfish. Most NC restaurants break the law about that. Didn’t even fool with asking them. But if you have shell fish allergy ask before riskng eating anything fried everywhere.
