This place is great. Exactly what Scranton needed. Not your run of the mill restaurant. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their wines. Food is excellent. This will be in our regular rotation for our date night.

We had an excellent bar & dining experience here. We arrived early for our dinner reservation , and had a happy hour drink @ the bar, and the pretzel snack. Wine & beer were both good, and the pretzel bits w/ a tasty mustard hit the spot. The servers were friendly & attentive- we really felt welcomed!
Dinner, in the upstairs dining room , continued the 5 star evening ! My husband had mussels, and we split the caesar salad & special fish , which was trout, and delicious. Again , the server was knowledgeble, friendly ,& there when needed. The room filled as the evening went on , but was not too noisy.The space felt airy & well-designed- we liked our 2-top by the windows .
All in all , a terrific addition to the downtown Scranton restaurant scene- we were very impressed!

Had such a great meal at Warney! This is a hidden gem (that likely will not stay hidden for long!). The staff was fantastic too us, Francis and David we so helpful and kind. The food was some of the best in the area. Very trendy environment and not too large like some restaurants where you feel like you a number. Each drink and dish we had was better than the last! We truly cannot wait to go back and bring friends! See you soon Warney !

The food is decent . It’s not the best but decent and I’m not sure if anything there is organic. Also I ordered the veggie lasagna and it came with a salad. The lettuce had no tomato, cucumber or anything. Just lettuce thrown on the side of the hot pasta. They also push alcoholic drinks, appetizers, and desserts. I’m not a fan of being pushed into ordering food I don’t want. Wait times for your food are long. The chairs are very tiny and uncomfortable. The tables are “dated” and the place gets loud where you can’t even hear what your company is saying. They only have one unisex bathroom to share for the whole place. It’s a two floor restaurant with bar being on the first floor but if you need to use the bathroom it’s on the first floor so you walk down two flights of steps . Also there’s usually someone always in it ♂️. The bathroom unusually has NO mirrors. They have outdoor seating too with more hard chairs. If you are overweight this place will not be for you . Mixed drinks are over iced so always ask them for light ice. Staff seems friendly but not personable . If you like really tiny small spaces this place is for you. I light the low lighting but they keep the AC too cold. Bring a jacket.

What an AMAZING place! We have been here 2 times now for date night and they do not disappoint!! The specials are so unique and delicious, I absolutely love that they do a salad special because I love salads and it’s so nice to not just have to have the same salad over and over like at other places. The steak tartare was so good, our first time ever having that and we highly recommend it. The team there is so friendly and knowledgeable they were to help us pair a wine that matched both our meals as well as meeting in the middle on one of us liking dry and the other liking sweet wine, and it is now our new favorite wine to enjoy together!! Can’t wait to go back again!!

Absolutely wonderful. The Warney offers a unique and delicious dining experience, from drinks to appetizers, all the way to house made dessert. The wine list is large and meticulously selected by the owner. Everything we ordered was delicious. My steak was the best I have ever eaten. The entire staff is a group of friendly, knowledgeable people 😉

This is our new favorite restaurant in Scranton. Excellent food, really cool drinks and wine selection, great vibe, great service. Downstairs is a wine bar and upstairs is the restaurant. My wife and I had prosciutto toast to start (really good), then she had the chicken, which was outstanding (yes, I tasted it), and I had the duck, which was out of this world. The atmosphere is very positive: high ceilings, good music, cool artwork, attentive staff, everyone having a good time. A wonderful dining experience!
