This place claims to have Taiwan’s number 1 fried chicken. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. They only seem to have dark meat here right now and I got their wings, legs and thighs, boneless thighs, and appetizer sampler with fries, motz sticks, and corn nuggets to try. Everything in the appetizer sampler was nice and crispy and well seasoned. The motz sticks even still had a pretty good cheese pull after sitting for a bit. But the corn nuggets. MNM. It was like eating fried cream corn with plenty of Juicy, plump, sweet corn kernels inside while having a beautifully crisp exterior. Not really a dark meat or bone in fried chicken typa girlie but They dredge and fry everything here TO ORDER so it’s super fresh and does take a hot minute to get. All the chicken was crispity crunchy, flavorful, well seasoned, and super juicy. Would’ve been nice to get something pickley to cut through it cuz it does get a tad oily tho. Wish they had some white meat boneless options too but Overall this place is still lowkey pretty good.

This chicken is FIRE! Ordered the wings special. These wings are humongous! They blow all other wings of the water! Don’t get me started on the flavor. The wings are juicy and delicious! Must try!

One of the best fried chickens I’ve had. The breading is so yummy and the chicken always comes out juicy. The staff is really nice and gives great recommendations on how to save. I would suggest coming on a weekday rather than a weekend to avoid heavy crowds. Will definitely be back.

Delicious Taiwanese fried chicken. Was recommended by someone who really enjoyed them in Taiwan. I think this place is a victim of its location in the Haven City Market. It’s located in the far left corner of the place by the bar so if you don’t enter from the left side, it can be overlooked or by time you see them, you’ll already ordered somewhere else. Staff is friendly and welcoming.
I will say, the wait is a bit long, but the food is fresh. If you plan on ordering from here, I’d recommend ordering here first then walking around, ordering at other places.
I think what we had was delicious. This chicken isn’t too overly battered and had the right amount of crisp. Buttery, milky, juicy and not too greasy . They have spices you can get on the side if you’d like your food a bit spicy, but it definitely doesn’t need it.
The mix fries was decent. Not as crispy as I would have liked. The food is perfect to share.
From my understanding, and I’ve never tried the original in Taiwan, it’s not as good. Most likely with anything that’s brought over to the US, lack of available ingredients and resources affects the flavor.
Would I get it again? Of course, if I’m the mood for fried chicken.

I’m very disappointed with this place. They offer a manager special on the back of the food 4 less receipts and they won’t honor it or they’re simply falsely advertising a special they don’t honor. I went there today and was told they were going on lunch and to return within an hour. When I returned, I was informed that this special is no longer active and that they can’t honor it. I was really hoping to try this place for the first time, but if this is the way they operate I rather just avoid overall.

The famous Taiwanese American style fried chicken. We had 10 PCs chicken only meals. The breading is actually the best part of the fried chicken as it is thin and crispy and crunchy and you can tell the oil is fresh. The meat inside is also juicy and tender but I somehow feel something is lacking and I believe it should be marinated longer as the flavor doesn’t stand out. Also, the portion is a bit small compared to our favorite friend chicken Jollibee with the same price point. Not just the meat size but also the PCs count( 12 PCs vs 10 PCs). I would suggest they either at least match with 12 PCs despite the fact that the size of the meat are smaller. Overall, good fried chicken to try out but the value to price needed some improvement.

It can get pretty busy so it’s better to walk around the area and come back for your food.
