Look I’m mad & sad I never know about this restaurant until facebook post Saturday. Today I went up there to find there closing December 19,2025.
I do not know why because the food is excellent no jokes. I ordered the salmon croquettes, grits, eggs, and toast with a waffle on the side. Foods on point fresh and served to order. Go experience the last taste and support a black owned restaurant since 1965 make it the best Christmas gift ever.

This place is definitely a staple! Ms. Ware and all the staff are wonderful. Patricia was our server and is very attentive and sweet! I ordered the fried chicken salad and it was super delicious!!! Give this place some love and check them out!

I visited for breakfast and my waitress was LuLu. She was very nice and clean. I loved how she explained how the gratuity went at the beginning of us dinning in. My son order the junior plate which was two pancakes , bacon and eggs which he enjoyed. I had cheese grits, salmon croquettes and eggs it came with toast but I sub for one pancake. The two slices of cheese that came on top of my grits was cold luckily my grits was hot so it didn’t take much to melt the cheese. My Salmon Croquettes was very nasty no seasoning and they wasn’t even done in the middle. Over easy eggs cooked correctly.

I appreciate a black owned steak house in the hood. However, I hope some customer training is implemented on a regular basis. I also didn’t get my salad which came with the meal and by the time our server came to check we were eating. The steak was really good though

Good flavorful steak cooked the way you like it! Large eggs to accompany; the restaurant is a jewel in the rough but its still standing even after the corona19! Support this small business by dining-in. Not many of these left
