Good solid entry into the Mexican food space. It was really more of an intimate space which is nice for having conversations with the party and not needing to yell.

We went there for my son’s birthday so we got a reservation for 5 of us at 6pm. We were able to be seated immediately and there were still a few tables left.

Chips and salsa were delivered immediately and drinks were ordered and delivered shortly thereafter.

Took quiet a while to place our orders but once we did, the food arrived quickly and the orders were accurate.

I had the carnitas and they were really good. Lots of flavor and there was a decent amount of meat. It came with rice and beans and those tasted good also. My wife had the chile rellenos and said they tasted really good too.

Decent food but nothing to knock my socks off.

Only gripe I had was the shredded chicken that was in my younger son’s taco was still in rather large chunks. Makes it hard for the kids to eat…

Clean restaurant with welcoming, helpful staff. I had the Chili Relleno which comes wrapped in an egg roll wrapper, fried, and while a bit different, it was delicious! My wife had the vegetarian frijitas and the seasoning was excellent. Black beans for both of us along with soft, fluffy rice. Guacamole was tasty but that salsa was perfect. Just the right amount of heat and flavor, a little bit of burn and beads of sweat that leaves you longing for more.

I went because the reviews were so good. Well, in my humble opinion, it was okay. I do not recommend the Combination – is not paired with Rice and Beans and being the higher priced dish (+3 for the poblano), around $21, not a value. The chile relleno, had what I would call queso filling. Taco was decently filled but the ground beef was lacking flavor. Tostada with carnitas was light on the meat and I had to add salsa and salt to add flavor. Enchiladas were decently filled with ground beef but would have been better if they were hot (temperature). Chips and salsa were good but not something that would have me return. I hope they make the necessary changes to improve the food but as is, I do not recommend.

I really like this place. I went for lunch and had the chilaquiles and my friend had the enchiladas. They were both fantastic as was the chips and salsa given upon being seated (they provide that without charge which doesnt happen much anymore). I also ordered flan and, as expected, it was really good. I would recommend this place for lunch and dinner for sure. I am not sure what time they open but maybe breakfast too. I’ll be back

This place is a gem! The interior is absolutely beautiful, and the seating is super comfortable with plenty of TVs to catch the game. I can’t wait to come back during the summer months! Monday is happy hour all day, which is such a bonus. The salsa was incredible, and the food was even better—my husband loved his fajitas, and my carne asada plate was perfect. We left so happy and completely stuffed! Plus, our waiter was so charismatic and made the experience even better. So so excited to have this spot so close to home!

Service and atmosphere are great! The food is expensive for what you get, quality and quantity -wise. E.g. $18 for the Mole plate. I wanted to love the food (also tried the tacos al pastor), but it’s just kinda mid. Recommend to at least improve the food presentation/plating.

Hidden gem in north suburban sprawl. Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday. Friendly, attentive and helpful service. Great selection. My girls and I had Quesadilla, Steak Burrito, Chicken Flautas and sopapillas for dessert. All excellent, and if you want it spicy they have Jalisco and Chile Verde options that are not to be missed. So good….we’ll definitely be back.

Found this GEM and absolutely recommend it. They have great micheladas, margaritas and cocktails and the food was amazing! I had the crispy chile rellenos and all I can say is, it’s about time someone does it right! This place is a must!

Emilio made us feel welcome. We ordered combination plates so we could try several items. Presentation was beautiful. Chile rellenos were fantastic. Hot, crispy, great flavor and creamy queso. The carnitas taco was also outstanding. Really, everything was wonderful. Looking forward to returning.
