I dont think the food that that good. Nothing special there, just the typical basic American Chinese restaurant. The chicken had deep fried feathers.

Besides the fact that you just might get robbed while you wait, the wings had to have come from premature chickens!!! Never Again!!!

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants that I have been to in Raleigh. I’ve tried a lot of them, but this is one of the best everything was fresh and you can tell they had fresh vegetables not cooked too much but just cook. Perfect food was magnificent. I recommend going to this place. Customer service was A1.

I’ve been going here since I was a little kid, and it was my parent’s first date spot after immigrating years ago. They have always been consistent with the food quality and their efforts to maintain cleanliness and care are noticeable, even if the area around the restaurant is a little sketchy. The restaurant owner talks about how he’s seen me grow up, and my parents talk about they’ve seen his son grow up. It’s obvious the owner cares about his customers. I’ve moved out to college in UNCC now, but even in my dinky apartment over 100 miles away I crave Wang’s kitchen.

This is a Chinese restaurant that is next to a Food Lion, I think there is some correlation to the quality of food and the proximity of a Food Lion. It was pretty good food, descent size portions and the price was pretty good too. The area is a little sketchy at times but it is worth it to try this place. Very straight forward, no frills take out Chinese food. Give it a try.

Three stars for the egg roll. Four stars for the price. Five stars for the amount of food. One star for the taste. It was just really bland, the rice and sesame chicken. Hardly no sauce on the chicken and the little bit that was at the bottom still was not good. The rice, flavorless, except for the onions in it. I’m so use to flavor. Taste of China disappointed me too! So if you know of any great inexpensive Chinese restaurants in Raleigh please comment. Thanks!
Update! I decided to go back to Wang’s Kitchen after reading the positive reviews. And the food was way better. It reminded me of how Taste of China used to be. The Sesame Chicken and rice were good. There was enough sauce on the chicken this time and I could taste the flavor in the rice. The man taking the order was nice. So I changed my ratings.

It’s a Chinese restaurant like any other. People tend to forget that. Sometimes they have their bad days and people only remember those.
The food here is quick and consistent. I’ve never worried that something didn’t taste the same as last time and that is what every restaurant should strive for.
Of course their interior isn’t pretty, but who cares. Their sanitation rating is high, and their food a consistently delicious? That’s all I can ask for.

I’m not big on Chinese food simply because I’m working out and it puts weight on you. I had a cheat day on Friday and it was absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be going back next month to enjoy more but I can only indulge on this type of food once a month! The ladies that work here are awesome and hardworking. Loved the service!
