Photographing a wedding at Wandby Landing was truly an exceptional experience. The venue itself is stunning — thoughtfully designed, beautifully maintained, and set in a location that feels both elevated and inviting. Every corner offered something special to photograph, from the natural surroundings to the intentional details throughout the space.

The food was genuinely 12/10 — memorable, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with so much care. It elevated the entire guest experience and was one of those rare meals people are still talking about long after the night ends.

On top of all that, the vendor team was absolute chef’s kiss. Collaborative, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the day flow seamlessly and feel so enjoyable to be part of. It was an honor to photograph a wedding here, and I would love nothing more than the opportunity to return and capture another celebration at Wandby Landing again soon.

Wife and I dined here. I had the Caesar salad as an appetizer and wife had the peekytoe crab toast. I had the agnolotti pasta dish with corn and lobster. Wife had the halibut dinner. First, I found the Caesar salad to be too large for the plate/bowl it was served on, making it difficult to eat. I also didn’t like the fact that they chose to whiz up the croutons and sprinkle the dust over the salad. It seemed more like sandy grit than bread. On my entree, I found it bland. I made it edible by adding salt. On the other hand, my wife loved her appetizer and her halibut, hence the 4 stars. Finally, I would say this restaurant seems to be justifying its menu prices by increasing portion size. It would be better off dialing back the prices and trimming the portions to a normal size.

Our party of 8 enjoyed a phenomenal Prelude dinner. On the busiest weekend for dining in the area we received such amazing service! Our waitress was friendly, prompt and attentive as was all of the support staff! Food was served quickly, yet we never felt rushed! Atmosphere is warm, comfortable and classy!
We ordered meatballs and a pizza as appetizers – they were delicious! This place really knows how to make pizza!
We ordered every entree on the menu (except the pork chop) and nobody was disappointed. Food was perfectly seasoned and prepared. Portion size was perfect! Not too big and not too small!
Our only complaint is that we would love to see your corn ravioli back on the menu. We had that a while back and I’m still dreaming about it! Soooo good!

Our second time dining in and very happy with its consistency. Wandby Landing is a gorgeous restaurant, the atmosphere and food alike. Their bar is cozy with the view if a fireplace, the dim lit dining rooms, and fire pits outside. We are all big fans of this place and its food options. Everything we’ve gotten has been delicious and their beverage menu is lovely. I highly recommend their pork chop and chicken Milanese. If you want something lighter on the wallet, they have large pizzas that are not bad at all, though I prefer their other items. I think their desserts could improve so maybe skip that and get an appetizer instead. It’s always a great dining experience and we will be returning.

A slow start with service but worth the patience as the food was amazing! The view of the river from our table was relaxing. Fresh flowers out of the garden were used in our gnocchi meal. The Bolognese was perfect and is equal to local Via Sophia. Very helpful staff assisted choosing our wine. You must eat here!

Love it here! The caesar salad is the best I have ever had. Beautiful, fresh gem butter lettuce with crispy croutons crumbs—yum! The pizza is very good. Staff is super professional, friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is lovely but relaxed. Perfect vibe for a vacay in Maine.

First of all, the property and overall atmosphere is breathtaking. The outdoor gardens and interior design is so well done in the heart of lower village Kennebunk. You honesty feel like your in a private oasis of southern Maine. Our dinner tonight was so delicious! I ordered the vegetarian pasta dish and I can’t even describe how good it was. We split a bunch of sides and there was so much attention to detail. Our server, Joe was friendly and always made sure to check how everything was going through out the dining experience. I will be coming back with family and friends! Thanks, Wandby!

During our stay in Kennebunkport, we drove by Wandby Landing multiple times and finally decided to stop in for dinner — and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Matt, who immediately offered us a table. When we mentioned we were on our honeymoon, he thoughtfully sent over two glasses of sparkling wine, which was such a lovely gesture and set the perfect tone for our evening.

As we browsed the menu, we were impressed with the variety and decided to try the Chilled Beet Salad, Whole Wheat Campanelle, and Summer Corn Pizza. Every dish we ordered was delicious, and we were pleased to find that the prices were reasonable, especially for a newer restaurant.

Before we left, we thanked Matt, and he eagerly gave us a tour of the upper level of the restaurant. It was clear he took great pride in Wandby Landing, and we truly appreciated the personal touch as he shared its story with us. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I highly recommend giving Wandby Landing a try!

Enjoyed a decent meal at a new elegant Italian restaurant heading into Kennebunkport. We are lucky to have so many new options in this area. The gardens and landscape were vast and very impressive. They had outdoor seating, Adirondacks and a fire pit. The parking lot was a tad dark and the entrance was attractive but not well marked. We weren’t sure if it was the back door. Upon entry there was a podium (thank goodness) and a view into a very attractive bar area on the first floor. Stunning decor. We were seated upstairs. Our server was excellent, helpful throughout. That’s important as they offer unique products and ingredients not seen often. We enjoyed a couple of craft cocktails and their unique and tasty chilled bread and accoutrements. Different and good. We selected two appetizers – Mussels: fantastic flavor/best in the area from what we’ve had all summer. Fried Squid: similar to a spicy Rhode Island version, robust sauce but hidden a little as it was below the squid. Very light and tasty. We were conflicted on our two pasta entree selections. We selected Trenne as one and Eggyolk Taglilitelli now with shrimp as the other. The handmade pasta was excellent. Compliments to whoever made that. Light, melted in our mouths and accepted the sauces nicely. We didn’t fully enjoy each sauce thoroughly. You could tell that there was a lot of thought and technique, but neither of us were loving them, like “I craving more of this”. Good, not great. If they do nail down some great sauces w that pasta, they will have people lining up. We ended with cappuccinos and tiramisu – both awesome. Beautiful restaurant worth trying. Make note they do allow for reservations thru Resy and don’t expect your traditional American-ized menu. They are doing their own creative thing, which we appreciated. Great place. (Subsequent visit) Again, really good service. My bartender was a pro – on point. Had a beer and fried oysters. Possibly the oddest preparation I’ve seen. Instead of flour or cornmeal, they fried them with rice. Very unpleasant, dense and a hard crunch. I came for the pizza, so I was hoping for better. Priced high, but the pizza was very very good. Chewy with nice char on the bottom. No distinct crust, but good flavor – consistent texture throughout. Added Parmesan gave a salty taste. When they stay the course with dishes I find that these guys do really well, but when they get too creative I’ve found they miss the mark. I will suggest that people I know try this place and let me know what they think.
