I’ve been a loyal customer and I had been purchasing fish every Friday just about. I’ve told several people, including dozens of my Nurse friends to try out this spot until one evening. I purchased fish and there was human hair on my fish. The owner promised me for free orders of fish. I was fulfilled with two orders and then the owner and the restaurant stop answering my calls. It would not take my order because they knew that it was me and they did not want to fulfill those additional two orders that they offered yesterday. I had to call from my Son Son‘s phone and explained to them that I will pay for my fish, I don’t even want the additional two orders of fish so I picked up my order and today I went to put my food in the air fryer and again there is hair in my food. This time, I absolutely feel like it was done, intentionally by the server upfront.

Soul Food Sunday!!!! Amazing food. Very tasty and filling. I had the meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, cabbage greens, and black-eyed peas. I will DEFINITELY be back.

This was soooooo good . My family and I came here after church and was welcomed with prayer before serving the food . I loved every dish I ordered but the banana pudding was the BEST banana pudding I’ve EVER had . You can tell they put love all through that food . Lord bless the hands of the cooks and the staff was soooooo kind !! We will be returning soon !

Food was absolutely phenomenal !!! Great dishes. My first time here and I was not disappointed.
It seemed like there was a bit of miscommunication at times with so much going on but Ms wammys and her team remained professional.

Food was good but very unorganized. Poor customer service and poor time management.The place open at 11am and didn’t start serving food till 12:20pm. Poor execution from the workers having lack of knowledge on what needed to be done and how to do it. For example; The menu stated 2 meats and 4 sides but was not able to get two lamb as my meats. Fish wasn’t available and had to be special order ( Was not mention, nor did the workers know) else I would’ve ordered the fish ahead of time while I was waiting the hour 20 minutes to be served. I paid 176 for 5 people and drinks and dessert was not included.

I go to school in Dekalb so I have to drive 40 minutes to go here and it’s worth it every time. The yams are sweet and delicious, the greens have cabbage and tender meat in them so good, the baked chicken is seasoned so well and has this delectable skin, and the cajun turkey was amazing. I decided to pick up the german chocolate cake as well and it was sooo good. Their sweet tea is also southern sweet and absolutely delicious. The food is fresh and hot and you can tell that the staff works very hard. Everyone deserves their tens all around.
