Nestled within Walsenburg Golf Course lies a charming 10-site RV park, offering beautiful views and a peaceful retreat for travelers! At $36 per night with a maximum stay limit of 14 days, it provides excellent value for RVer’s.

The campground’s single-entry design is super efficient for all size rigs.

Each campsite comes equipped with essential amenities, featuring water and electrical connections (both 50 and 30 amp options), picnic tables, and a brand-new BBQ. While individual sites don’t include dump stations, a convenient dump station is located at the entrance/exit and is included in the nightly rate. (Important consideration regarding the dump station access: For optimal maneuverability, plan to use the dump station upon departure rather than arrival. Large rigs like our 41-foot fifth wheel may find it challenging to navigate back into the campground after using the the dump station.)

All 10 sites are pull-through despite their website stating “no pull-through sites.”

For safe arrival, RV owners must enter from downtown Walsenburg via Second Street, near the Loaf ‘n Jug gas station. While the latter portion of Second Street is unpaved, it’s nicely maintained and poses no issues for RV travel. Avoid entering from Highway 160 through Lathrop State Park, as this route contains challenging turns unsuitable for larger vehicles.

Reservations can be secured either by phone or through their website using a Google form. Checkout time is noon.

During our two-night stay, we enjoyed visiting the Golf Course Bar and Grill, where the staff provided exceptional hospitality and we met some wonderful locals. The restaurant operating hours (not the golf course) are daily except Wednesdays, from 11 AM to 7 PM. The historic downtown Walsenburg area, currently undergoing revitalization efforts, offers additional dining options, including Gub Gub’s Pizza on Main Street, a unique establishment that has creatively transformed an old gas station into a pizza and ice cream venue featuring well-designed outdoor seating areas perfect for enjoying meals.

Extremely pleased with the service and the quality of the food, especially for the price. Never knew about this gem until a family friend took me here. We were thr only ones and our food came out fast and we’ll made, despite it being close to closing

Great 9 hole course that can sharpen your overall golf skills. Practice range, practice green and great food in the club house. Enjoy the incredible views of the Spanish Peaks and sunsets while you sit out on the patio.

Love 2nd Street Grill at the golf course. There’s not a lot of places in town to sit down and get a casual meal with a mixed drink! They have lots of different entertainment times, Trivia Nights, comedy night…etc. just a fun place to go to eat and meet friends!

2nd time on this course and was yelled at 4 times in first 10 holes. Guys working were not in good moods and telling us different every time. “You can drive up by tee box”, other guy says “Don’t drive by MY TEE Box!” I’m done and won’t return. Not a good day. One on orange mower and other one running registers. Was going to eat at restaurant but won’t give them any more business. We are all adults and acted like it but really ruined the day. Drove 1 hour to play and Father 77 years old was only one not yelled at today. 7 of us here from out of town.

Great 9 hole par 36 course. No sand traps or water to avoid. Not much elevation change. Great place to focus on your swing and get a good practice round in.
