I tried their steamed clams. They gave me a broth and I thought it was soup but it’s was to cleanoff the sand. Staff was so nice to explain it. Enjoyed it very much.

If you’re looking for fresh oysters, I would recommend this place. I’m not sure if it’s because of the season, but the oysters were a bit on the small side. That said, they were still very fresh and delicious. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would come back again

I went with the hot buttered lobster roll with chip for $30. It was a bit pricy but actually one of the cheapest options for a lobster roll in quincy market. I found it to be absolutely delicious and worth the price. The lobster was cooking perfectly and loaded with buttery garlicky goodness the roll was also toasted to perfection. The staff was very friendly as well.

Walrus & Carpenter is an awesome little oyster bar. The oysters are super fresh, the drinks go down easy, and the staff makes you feel right at home. It’s got that laid-back, cozy vibe that makes you want to stick around for “just one more dozen.” Great spot to kick back with friends and slurp oysters.

Yum, yum, yummi, Yum! This place was delicious! Located inside Quincy Market naturally it’s not very big but the food was amazing. I was visiting Boston with my wife and cousin and we wanted to get a lobster roll and some chowda. I love a good raw oyster and after walking around checking some of the other places out this place look pretty good. The service was really quick they really got their whole process down. It also look like that they bake their own bread in this little spot. The Chowder was absolutely amazing! They did have a little station out front where you could get a free sample if you wanted to give it a taste before you got some. The lobster roll was tasty, good size portions, nice and tasty and based in some butter. The oysters were spot on. I asked him what type of oysters he had he answered local, LOL so I’m not sure if he actually knew what kind they had but whatever they were they were very tasty and he showed me how they came in fresh that morning. Going into Quincy Market is a complete Madhouse but if you there looking to get some oysters, lobster roll or chowder I definitely would recommend this place!

Ordered the clam chowder in bread bowl. Staff was friendly and professional. Wasn’t expecting much for $12 and got even less. The chowder was well seasoned but had little to no clams and potatoes (see pic). The clams were chewy and potatoes not big enough to bite. The bread bowl was very good. Would probably choose another place with so many choices in area.

We got thr lobster roll, clam chowder in a bread bowl, and steamed clams. We defo enjoyed the food. They were all delicious esp the steamed clams.

The lobster on the lobster roll was a bit dry but it was still good as a whole. I would’ve like some more clams in the chowder but the chowder itself was already thick and rich so it was super satisfying. The steamed clams were VERY fresh. It was an explosion of flavors every time you bite.

First, I want to thank the company for having a sample stand. I don’t see those very often, so I was happy to have the opportunity to try one. Secondly, I loved being able to sit down and watch football while eating my bread bowl full of clam chowder. Very cool
