Service and the food was excellent. Some of the best bacon I’ve had in quite awhile — I very much recommend the breakfast special. You could see the staff work like a team and my waitress was awesome, checked up throughout my stay and was attentive. Whole atmosphere overall was very nice.

Wow!!! Unbelievable meal! The biscuits were heavenly! The eggs and bacon were perfection. The grits were mind blowing! Get the breakfast special for $7.95. It does not disappoint. Ask for Sherry she’s a doll! We ordered and were served piping hot food within 10 minutes. Just a great experience!

My original intent was to eat breakfast but missed it as it stops at 11:20a.m. They serve only breakfast Saturdays. I decided to choose a vegetable plate this time. Sweet potato fries, Mac and cheese, okra, and pinto beans with onion and cornbread was all delicious and filling. If you like Southern food that tastes like dad and moms cooking, then Wally’s on McCallie, is the place to go. Highly recommend! Family owned for 85 years!

So disappointed, my coworker and I decided to get takeout. We both ordered beef tips and rice which she has had from Wally’s before. We basically got gravy with a few pieces of meat and maybe a tablespoon of rice. You guys were wrong for that and who ever put the food in the container knows they were wrong. I will definitely spend my money elsewhere.
