We come here a few times a year and always like it. Stopped by for brunch today and it was great! Food was hot fresh and well made. We already talked about coming back. Also if you come for Brunch get the cinnamon roll we ate it too quick to get a photo.

Went to Wallys for supper today. Seated quickly and drink order was taken almost immediately. We had a spinach cheese dip that was terrible. It had an overwhelming taste of citrus like lime, and you couldn’t taste anything else. We didn’t finish it. My wife had chicken strip and house made fries. She liked the fries better than the chicken strips. She said they tasted funny, maybe the oil they cook them in. I had the blackened pan seared salmon with risotto and green beans. Salmon was good but didn’t taste blackened. Green beans were okay, nothing special and I did not care for the risotto although to be fair not a risotto person. And to top it all off we did not get the Happy Hour price for our beer or wine. The waitress apologized but,,,,,, . Overall food was just so so and service was good with the exception of overcharging us for liquor.

Service is top notch, and I can see why this place is so popular.

First time dining here, and such a wonderful experience we had from the greeting as we walked through the door until we left the building. The food was tasty and the service was great. Bailey our server was the Bestest! She was so patient, answered menu questions, made suggestions and made sure we had everything we needed. Also, how awesome to have had an opportunity to meet the owner as he delivered the food to our table. This spot will definitely be on repeat for me.

What an awesome place! Went in expecting things like burgers and fries and was pleasantly surprised. They have a very different menu. I tried the mushroom and goat cheese stuffed pastry and it did not disappoint! Very good! Service was outstanding! Will definitely be going back.

Absolutely a staple when it comes to Lee’s Summit. Not once have I or my family ever had an issue with ordering here. The food is fantastic, near the raintree side of lees summit it is absolutely the best you can get. On sundays the brunch is fantastic, the Chorizo Burrito is my favorite, simple and delicious. I also recommend the Chicken Club Dub, and the sausage rigatoni. Their risotto and chips are also delicious. I also suggest the island hopper if you are looking for a drink.

Our first time in today, and we showed up at the perfect time. The restaurant wasn’t busy and therefore was extremely quiet. I had an absolutely fantastic Cuban sandwich as well as a piece of peanut butter cheesecake. Lees Summit isn’t a city that I’m in very regularly, but I would definitely stop by and have lunch here again.

We’ve been going to Wally’s for three years or so, and have never been disappointed. In fact, we continue to be impressed and our taste buds delighted each visit we make! Our favorite cocktail there (that we’ve never had anywhere else) is the Sweet’n Spicy margarita. And although we’ve never had a bad one, those that Amanda makes for us are the BEST! She is also a very pleasant and highly attentive server to her tables, while also taking care of the bar patrons.
I spied a new item on the appetizer menu today and asked about it. Amanda endorsed it thoroughly, so we tried the Crab Rangoon Fritters AND THEY WERE AMAZING! Instant favorite. They are crispy/crunchy, creamy, very flavorful filling, and the sweet/hot (not that hot) chili sauce is just the perfect accent. Soooo good.
Wally’s Cluckers (deep fried chicken tenders) and Famous Fries deserve the hype they get and the reputation they have. The Cluckers are the most tender chicken tenders I’ve very had anywhere and the crispy coating isn’t all hard, thick, and too dense like some are.
I first tried The Jive Turkey sandwich around Thanksgiving time last year. The cranberry aioli is just the right flavor to add to a roast turkey, bacon, and cheese on grilled sourdough sandwich. And best part is, it’s available year round!
So go get some! I’m pretty sure everything on the menu is delicious. And if you go on Saturday, sit in the bar area and say hi to Amanda!

6/28/2019 Update – went again … was awesome. Wait staff and kitchen did an excellent job at an affordable price. Burgers best in town, and not shown in picture, but Cluckers (chicken fingers) are awesome with homemade breading. Fires are fresh cut homemade with awesome seasoning and rock. Lots of on-tap beers to choose from.

11/14/2023 – Food was very good again! Went during lunch hour, food delivered to table in timely fashion. However, service to take just take our order, then later request to-go boxes, and finally requesting the check took way too long.
07/05/2024 – went during happy hour, sat outside because it was such a nice day. We only decided to sit outside after we noticed they made that a NON-smoking outdoor porch!! Service and food was excellent.

Great experience on my first visit here. Ate at the Bar. The Bartender, Payton, did a great job. The food was timely even on a Saturday evening. Took leftovers and walked away full. Several other items on the menu I look forward to trying. The Tap selection is good too. If you are still reading I recommend you set this as your destination.
