Been coming to this place since I was a kid. Fish that was on Friday was amazing and seasoned so good. Sweet Tea is always a 10+. I enjoy shopping here and grabbing things I can’t find at home (Indianapolis). Great family spot. I miss the lady that was always back there serving food, she finally retired and I’m so happy for her.

Stopped to grab a bite to eat, the fried chicken was delicious and fried to perfection. The Catfish was also yummy but a bit over priced. Let’s not forget about the greenbeans oh so good! The cornbread was very dry and bland.

The cafeteria style restaurant menu is ala cart. There was plenty of seating and the staff was friendly.

I asked the lady in the serving line of the mashed potatoes are real or instant, said they are real. They are NOT. I called and asked them to please correct her because i would’ve chose another side if she had been honest. Not what I call honestyle cooking, at least not where i grew up or how i cook in my house. Chicken is very good, but the salmon pattie was very dense, heavy and just not too my liking. I would stop again for the chicken only.

We were able to meet my family there yesterday, and have an impromptu Christmas gathering. It was a halfway point for all of us. They suggested that we eat at Wally‘s and that it was good, but after reading all the reviews I was very skeptical. You walk in, and they have a huge cafeteria line where you walk down and pick what you like. We ranged from fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, baked chicken, roasted beef, mashed potatoes, fried okra, and some other mismatch things. I have to tell you this place far surpassed my expectations. The chicken was absolutely amazing the dumplings were freaking wonderful. It was like just eating in grandma‘s kitchen. Everything had a great flavor it was hot and ready to go! The desert was moist and super sweet. Staff was wonderful easy to deal with and made everything great.

We usually, stop in for a bit to eat on our road trips. Had the fried chicken, mash potatoes, green beans, roll, fountain drink, and a slice of chocolate pie. The chicken was a bit dry, but everything else was good. Service was friendly for the most part. I’m not a fan of all the dead animals around, but it’s still an okay place.

Food was good ( Cafeteria style service), was pricey for type of food. Animal scene inside was interesting. Store has alot of items to look at. Great place to check out while traveling !

This place offers laid back cafeteria style dining. Hubby and I deliver freight for a living and adequate parking for our truck is essential…no problem here! It makes it super easy to grab some good cooking and keep your delivery schedule. Hubby had the fried pork chop with mashed taters and gravy, corn and a corn muffin. I had a smothered pork chop with Mac and cheese, green beans and a corn muffin. Some people might say it’s nothing to brag about but I can tell you firsthand it’s better than a lot of the road food we’ve seen!
