Cute spot for gourmet hot dogs. Perfect place to bring the kids with a large candy selection, claw machine and even chalk to entertain the little ones outside. They have pet treats, cute souvenirs and shirts/sweatshirts for sale. The hot dogs are made perfectly with a unique selection of flavors. Highly recommend the Chicago dog, Spicy dog and Italian beef sandwich! They have slush puppie icies, it’s all around good quality food, reasonable prices and great atmosphere.

Hubby got the Picnic Dog and the Hardy Dog. He liked them both, but the Hardy Dog was his fave. I ordered the Corny Dog and liked it a lot. We both loved the parmesan sprinkled fries but agreed they didn’t come with enough dipping sauce. We had to pay extra ($.50 each) for more.

My husband and I stopped here on a whim while in the area and are so glad we did! The food is quality and the service made it outstanding! The guy at the counter was super helpful and so polite. The fries were outstanding and we Loved the Wisco brat. Yummm!
And, I’m not normally one to impulse shop but the gift store even got me too and I came away with a cute crewneck. Overall, this is a high quality stop when you are enjoying Green Lake!

If you are looking for a unique experience, Walk the Dog is it. Their hot dogs are delightful, and they offer a large variety of ways to “dress it up”. The buns are soft & keep together with all the topping choices. Their fancy fries are a must-have, especially with the awesome sauce. Don’t ask for the recipe because you won’t get it! It is THAT good! They also have a selection of Green Lake & Walk the Dog clothing and other gifts. This is a must stop when in the Green Lake area.

Food is high quality, service is excellent, and the shop is very welcoming and clean. Lots of cute, unique candies and the fancy fries with awesome sauce are addicting! Buns are soft and delicious. I used to think I didn’t like hot dogs, turned out I just hadn’t met the right one(s)…. until trying out Walk the Dog. Highly recommend the Hardy Dog and my kids love the Mac Dog. ❤️

So glad this shop is in Green Lake! There are so many hot dog topping combos to choose from it would be hard to believe you couldn’t find one that you like…my personal fav is the City Dog. The bun is always soft and fresh, too. And let’s talk about the fancy fries…YUM! The fries alone are good but they come with an amazingly delicious dipping sauce. They have such attention to detail here that even each to-go container has a hand drawn special message! And, while you wait for your food to be freshly made, they have so many fun souvenirs and gifts to look at (and buy!) You get fast, friendly service, and a real bang for your buck here!!
