From start to finish, everything about our visit was exceptional! The food was absolutely delicious — you can really taste the quality and care put into every dish. But what truly made our experience stand out was the incredible customer service.
Our server, Maddie, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed. Christiana, the manager, also stopped by our table to check on us and made sure everything was perfect — and it really was!
It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service exceed expectations, but this restaurant definitely delivers on both. We’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend! ️

Walked in around noon on a Sunday which was perfect timing. Fast seating and our waitress Alex was so warm and inviting! Love her! Now for the food.. absolutely delicious. I had the honey hot wings with lemon pepper as an app and the blackened shrimp with chicken alfredo for my entree

”Walk-On’s is our go-to for game night energy, and usually, it’s a smooth ‘show up and cheer’ kind of spot. We came with a dedicated crew of Bears fans for the Wild Card game—arriving over an hour early just to be safe—only to find out they were taking reservations for the playoffs!
It caused a bit of musical chairs with the tables, which isn’t ideal when you’re hyped for a big game. Honestly, the staff and the servers were absolute rockstars—they were hustling and did their best to keep everyone happy despite the 200+ people moving around. Many ended up outside watching the game
I still love the food and the vibe here, but hopefully, management keeps it ‘first-come, first-served’ for the next big one so it stays a true neighborhood sports bar. If you’re going for a big game, definitely call ahead just in case they’ve changed the rules!”

The 1 star rating is all about management. My waitress was absolutely amazing. The manager on the other hand was not. They have a limited time offering of a buffalo nachos. It comes with buffalo sauce, chicken and a white queso on the bed of tortilla chips. When we received our appetizer the nachos looked as if the chicken was only on the center of the nachos and the little bit of buffalo sauce and even less amount of queso was on that same area. We asked our waitress if we could get a little more queso to out on the nachos. She came back and explained the the manage I belive her name was Kaitlin (I may be inaccurate with that) said no they could jor provide any more queso and we would need to purchase the extra queso. I did purchase the small cup of queso but if you are providing a meal called NACHOS you would thing atleast a small amount of cheese should atleast be on every chip.
This was only the second time going to this location and I will not be going back. The first visit was only slightly better.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Walk-On’s in San Antonio! From the moment we were seated, our waiter Romeo made us feel right at home. He was the perfect balance of attentive without being overbearing and truly knew the menu like the back of his hand. Romeo answered every question we had with confidence, offered great suggestions, and even shared some of his personal favorites—which did not disappoint!
I ordered the shrimp and cheesy grits, and let me just say—magnificent! The grits were creamy and rich, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The sweet sauce on the shrimp really brought the dish together—it had a nice balance of sweetness and spice that left me wanting more.
I also tried the lemon butter chicken with broccoli. The chicken was tender and moist with every bite, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The broccoli was freshly steamed, with just the right amount of crunch—simple but delicious.
Romeo also recommended one of their new bar drinks, and it was a hit! Refreshing and well-balanced, it really rounded out the meal.
Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the noise level—it was a little loud during peak time—but otherwise, everything was on point. With service like Romeo’s and food this good, I’ll definitely be coming back!

My hubby and I went there. He had some good food. I love their salad. The atmosphere is kind of real sports bar. The waitresses are young and silly, but they had a good food kind of expensive. I don’t know. It’s kind of like a take your kid there’re kind of place sort of like a Dave & Buster’s atmosphere not bad.

She knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything came out exactly as I ordered. My drinks were always full, and she checked in at the perfect times without ever making me feel rushed. Tonight was our weekly date night and my bf suggested (for the 100th time lol) WalkOns. This was my 1st time here, my boyfriend had been to the 1 in Houston and loved it. He’s been telling me, “we need to go to WalkOns” and we finally went! I loved every single thing we ate! The crawfish etouffee the spinach dip w/parmesan dusted chips, the Cali wrap w/waffle fries, side salad w/ranch, and the cajundillas was what we shared and every single thing was so good!!!!! The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the blueberry coconut mojito but that is ok, I’ll get something different next time. Kaelyn was our server and she was so spunky, quirky, and attentive! The manager came to check on us and she was very sweet as well. I even got free beignet bites since it was my 1st time there, what a sweet gesture. We will most definitely be back due to the customer service, hospitality, and food (it was that damn good)! This was at the Hollywood Park location, btw.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted enthusiastically and felt welcomed! When we got seated on the Patio, Cheyne L. introduced herself and had this AMAZING energy. She answered all questions before we were able to even ask any and went over a bunch of menu items and informed us that it was happy hour! Alcoholic drinks were only $5 and certain appetizers were only $6, prices you can’t beat! They make those drinks like there isn’t going to be a tomorrow and seasons the food that it slaps the soul.
I ordered the Cajun Press Poboy and it was delicious!!! It was well seasoned and just so perfect. For our appetizers we got Waffle Cheese fries and Boom Boom Shrimp. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly and the flavors just burst on the tongue. The cheese fries had that perfect balance and were not too salty thankfully! My friend ordered the Louisiana Platter, and her taste buds went to heaven. This is some of the best food we have had in a while where everything was great! Everyone needs to come here at one point!

Omg!!!!!!first off let me say!!!! Alex and Mads were the ultimate. Quick service, paid attention and always had my best interest in mind. They let me know the specials, happy hour, even a reverse happy hour… anyone with looking for a great place after work to hang out, even if it’s with the kids and family. This walk ons is the spot!!!!! One last thing the manager tho Christina!!!! Absolutely killed it and made me feel like family!!! Thank you all so much for your he great experience
