The best fried chicken in Colorado. It’s so juicy and tender with a lot of flavor. The mac’ n cheese, coleslaw, and onion rings are fantastic.

1/6/26-I don’t normally give out 5 stars (that’s because 5 stars means you are perfect and most places aren’t). This place provided an amazing experience. This was out first time ever to a Waldo’s. The staff were super nice and helpful. The food was not only a great price for a large serving of food, but the food was really good. The batter on the chicken was the perfect spice level and the fruit tea is now one of my favorite drinks. I’m also not a fan of coleslaw, but their’s is actually good. Not watery, over sauced, or too much sugar. Big mistakes that most places make with their slaw. The only negative I would say about the experience was that the place was super cold. They just needed to turn up the heat. I would highly recommend this place.

This is the best fried chicken I’ve found (in CO). The coleslaw is sweet like KFC, but fresh which makes it perfect. The mac n cheese, potato wedges, cheddar biscuits w honey, and the signature house sauce are all excellent. Seriously good food. My only gripe is the honey mustard was disgusting to my taste buds, but 1 bad sauce isn’t worth docking them for.

Special shoutout to the manager Lauren who stopped by our table on Sunday to apologize for the long wait! My husband and I are new to the area, and this was our second time in. Love their 2 for 1 draft special. Their fried chicken and sides are super tasty!
I do think the chicken wings the first time we stopped in were perfect and this past Sunday they were a little dry. The fried chicken, collard greens, potato wedges, and Mac and cheese were all great. My husband did realize as we were walking out that his fried chicken plate was also supposed to come with a cheddar biscuit, so I’d say just make sure you double check that you’re not missing anything when you visit on a busy day. However, I’m willing to bet this would have been immediately rectified if we had actually said something (we were full and had somewhere to be).
All the staff has been pleasant, and I do appreciate how much Lauren cares! We’ll definitely be back.

The only complaint I have is that one time I had bones in my one of my tenders. But it is chicken so it is understandable, not great when it happens though.

I’ve been here a total of 3 times im here currently for my fourth visit and all I can say is the restaurant is excellently maintained the food is great everything is well seasoned perfectly cooked and delicious the staff here are friendly and very kind even when your a little slow lmao overall thank you Waldo’s for being the best chicken spot in aurora

I have a couple of problems with this restaurant that I need to mention first. There are only two in Colorado and the closest one is more than 10 miles away.
The restaurant is always clean and vibrant. The employees have always been helpful and courteous.
They are open Sundays and have a much better chicken than others. The tenders are juicy and hot. The breading is delicious. It is not overcooked and is fresh unlike a lot of other places.
If you have not had the opportunity to stop by, don’t wait much longer.

This is my favorite place to get chicken. I’m not usually someone who gets excited about chicken fingers, but wow… they are incredible here. They’re always tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.
My husband and I both really enjoy the food. My kids think the chicken is a little spicy, which is fair since the batter does have a bit of heat. Personally, I love the extra flavor, but I can see how it might be a little much for some kids. That said, my youngest daughter is obsessed with their macaroni and cheese.
The food always comes out hot and fresh, and the service is consistently friendly and fast. My favorite sauce is the honey mustard, which is phenomenal. My husband is a big fan of the buffalo sauce.

Loved this place. I got the freebird tender sandwich and the wifey got the rotisserie chicken platter. Both were delicious. The sides were all delicious also, collard greens, mac n cheese, and the coleslaw. I thought the food was definitely on the sweeter side. It’s a fast-casual spot, you order at the desk and then wait. There’s a full bar and bar area. Small room with some games for the kids. We asked Angelica for her recommendations, she steered us right. She Even got us a banana pudding to try, Wow! Happy hour BOGO on beer and wine. Every one who we dealt with was very, very pleasant
