After work, my co-workers and I came here for breakfast. We had a big order. The staff was very classy, and professional. Our waitress was great. She got everyone’s order right, and that was a plus. She was also friendly. I got the Lumberjack special. You can substitute the pancakes for a waffle if you prefer.The food was good as well. The steak wasn’t tender enough, and a little rough, but it was still good. It’s a nice, quiet spot if you get there early enough.

Not bad, but not great either. I’ve had a decent burger, and not-so-decent pancakes (tasted like some sort of quick just add water mix). I expect a diner to have great breakfast at least (coffee, omelettes, and pancakes). Unfortunately, this is where this diner falls short. Again, the food wasn’t bad, just disappointing for a diner. That being said, service was friendly and atmosphere was nice. Suitable for a meal if passing by, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

It’s diner food but the service was pleasant. I’ve been going here for years and I have found the quality to be consistent. One of the attentive servers even offered to make me an egg cream which I had asked for even though it was not on the menu. They even ensured social distancing of their patrons, although sadly it was quite empty by the time we left that evening.

Food was below average and service was poor. I had breakfast and ordered over easy eggs that came out over hard. I couldn’t return them because my waitress ( an elderly lady that probably should have retired years ago) just dumped my food on the table and never returned. I got no refill on coffee either for the same reason. I could understand it if the place was busy, but it wasn’t. I won’t return.

We were seated right away and got to browsing their large menu. It’s a typical no-frills diner experience, and our waitress was extremely friendly. We both really enjoyed our food – it was tasty and came out fast.

The food is decent but the staff was very friendly, kind, ane polite. Would rate the food a 3-4 but I gave 5 because the staff made the experience. The waitress tended all the tables on the half of the diner me and my friend sat in and still managed to stick around for conversations and was overall just very nice to be around.

Walden diner has been a main stay for many years. George, one of the owners will always great you with an “Oh Pa!”. He has a large menu to choose from. It a diner, they have everything. I particularly like the shrimp Athena when it is on the menu. The staff is friendly and competent. It always gets a great rating from the health department. I know many people look for that. Its clean with good food. What else can I say? It has plenty of parking too.

Went in for dinner on 8/5/2021. Greeted by staff promptly seated and drink order taken. Food came out quickly and order’s were all correct and delicious. Waitress was Victoria and she was amazing.
