They use the best oat milk and their espresso is always well balanced. Lots of nice space to hang out, if I want to be special and go to my favorite coffee shop I always come here. Good prices too

Tried this place for the first time and absolutely loved it! It had been on my want-to-go list for a while and I’m so glad I could finally make it.

What we ordered:
-small hot oatmilk mocha, half sweet, dash of cinnamon
-lemon lavender cookie
-chai oat cookie
-breakfast sandwich: English muffin, pesto, tomato, egg, Canadian bacon, cheddar

Literally every item was delightful. From the cozy mocha in the cute mug to the melt-in-your-mouth breakfast sandwich. And the prices are actually VERY reasonable and affordable.

The atmosphere is amazing with the unique furniture, cozy corners, emphasis on nature, and excellent taste in music. Will be coming here again and highly recommend you check it out!

As an avid Twin Cities coffee snob, I had to check out Walden Coffee. I am regularly in NE, so it’s in a great location for me.

Concerning atmosphere, the place is well lit and for a seeming smaller and longer space, it accommodates a great amount of seating. I appreciate the fireplace there.

Concerning coffee, I have only tried lattes. I appreciate the allowance of bringing in your own mug to reduce dishes and waste. They offer a unique syrup, miso caramel. The first time I tried this it came through well and was very enjoyable. The second time, the flavor did not punch through as well for reasons I am unaware of.

Concerning milk texture, out of all the third wave coffee shops I have been to in the Twin Cities, my experiences have been not as good as I was hoping. The steaming on the lattes I have had did not have as smooth or even foam as many other shops. The foam was not as fine and micro-foamy as desirable.

Another thing concerning the atmosphere, it gets busy (not an issue at all and is to be expected) but throughout busy times while I have been there baristas may shout out orders in a tone that is not welcoming or pleasant.

We were in town and walked down to Walden Coffee. The shop was so cozy and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The lattes were well made and we appreciated the bookshelf in one corner with kids’ toys. We’ll definitely be back on future visits!

Love the bright and airy vibe here! There’s plenty of seating and it’s spread out enough to be quieter for working or chatting. The WiFi worked great. The coffee menu was pretty basic but their house syrups were delicious— I loved the lavender latte. Staff was nice and there was street parking around the building.

We had a coco loco (seasonal cold brew) and a halfsies (season Arnold Palmer-like drink). The coco loco was adequate, and the halfsies was very good with a good balance between sweet and earthy tea.

The service was pretty good and attentive and the atmosphere was pretty nice. Quite a lot of buzz on a Sunday morning.

Great place to wait and have a coffee when your car is getting fixed at Good Carma.

I walked to this coffee shop as it was only a 10 minute walk from an Airbnb I was staying in and was recommended by the host. I will say it is a great coffee shop. They have different coffee and tea drinks and everything you need to make it how you enjoy it. They also make smoothies as well. They offer breakfast food and pastries and we got a cinnamon roll, which was excellent, and a breakfast sandwich with turkey and Canadian bacon which was great. There was plenty of parking, if you need to drive there. They had table and barstool seating and free Wi-Fi. The staff was very nice and the service was quick.

No complaints at all about this place would definitely visit again if I were in the area.

Such a great atmosphere! The best part? I would come here just for the environment. It’s very cool hipster vibes and I love it. I definitely plan on coming back just to do some work. The worst part? I can’t say anything negative because I had such a lovely visit! My smoothie was delicious and so was my quiche. I do wish I could have had it heated up but they said it would have taken 5-7 minutes and I didn’t have the time but that’s okay, it was still good!
