Had the best lunch here recently and even ordered an item they do not have on menu.
They happily obliged my request (shrimp burrito bowl) and were very friendly.
Service was quick and the chips and salsa divine!
If you ever order to go, ask for the chip salsa instead of the red to go salsa. Hands down the best in the area.
If you have small children, there is a small outdoor seating area for them to run around.
Definitely adding to favorites!

This restaurant has won me over with its outstanding food and impeccable service. The staff’s attention to detail and warm hospitality are what keep us returning time and time again.

The food was delicious, the steak was so tender you could cut it with a spoon and the marinated nopalitos and charred cheese topped with chorizo made for the perfect bite. The outdoor area was also really nice. We were able to let the kids stretch their legs for a bit and play corn hole.

I have been patroning Mexican food in Waco for four decades. I had my favorites and only reluctantly followed a recommendation to come here. I was not disappointed!
First it is worth point out that our server, Monica, was very sweet. My 8 year old for some reason decided to sit at the bar and she happily accommodated his request for something specific on the TV. That aside, she was very polite professional, attentive and the whole experience was great. Most importantly the food was phenomenal. Chips were great and the salsa was the best. The Birria Tacos were great and the enchiladas were great too. The water was also fantastic. It is worth noting because our tap water in Waco notoriously doesn’t taste good.
I am highly impressed. Waco needs more places like this. It was remodeled, clean, safe and comfortable. Can’t recommend enough!

First time coming here. The town people loved this place and I said what’s the best food and the recommendation was this place. The inside is a neat little setup with a small bar to the left. It also had an outdoor patio.
I got a yogurt bowl and this amazing taco with a dipping sauce and pickled onions.
It was filling but didn’t make me feel overly full.

I’ve lived in Texas for three years now and am known to be a bit of a foodie and I’ve eaten out a lot from Paris, Frisco, Dallas. and in between and this place just served me the best meal in Texas!!! All of the staff are so kind and patient but the food is absolutely amazing!!! For real.
Mayrah is the best employee. She always smiles and is so kind and helpful.

Stopped in while passing through town. So glad I did! Very clean and pleasant dining area. The staff is very friendly and polite. It was lunchtime and there were only 4 other parties in the restaurant. Food came out quickly and with a nice presentation. I had the birria taco plate. Awesome taste and plenty of food with the three taco. Served with chips and salsa and under $13 with water to drink. Overall a great experience and highly recommend.

Looks nice on the outside, but beans taste like out of a can and they had hot dogs in it , pico de gallo was not fresh at all , steak meat taste more gamey, so not sure if that fresh enough. Drive thru girl was pleasant and food served fairly fast….and green salsa side was the best out of the entire: Steak Bowl. Came out @$18 for this lunch.

Amazing food, amazing price. What my picture doesn’t show is the two Wako tacos I got, because I ate them. Because they were delicious.

I ordered what I thought was going to be elotes- corn in a cup right? That is how I assumed it would be EDIBLE corn OFF the cob. Not this. WHY did they have to ruin my elotes? Laziness? Who enjoys corn on the cob anyway?! I feel tricked. Our whole order was nearly $50 and it’s NOT EVER WORTH IT. They think very highly of their corn on the cob like all the other mediocre food they serve, because it cost AT LEAST $5 something. Not for corn in a cup you can eat. No. It’s overpriced, sadistic trickery; I don’t think many people would be pleased to receive their elotes as the corn STILL on the cob. As in, painful to eat.
Not even close to what I wanted. Boo. Never ever again WAKO TAKO. It’s a freaking scam.
