Holy cow, soooooo good. We were disappointed that the breakfast pizza place was closed so we decided to try wake up and waffle, and boy was that a good decision! Benedict was eggcelent! Bloody Mary flight was fantastic and the sweet waffle was incredible. This place is fan freaking tastic!

Very friendly service in a fairly cute location with some local shops. Waffles were fantastic. Got the seasonal pumpkin waffle and caprese waffle sandwich. Pumpkin was not as sweet as I feared even with the cream cheese toping, and small enough you don’t get overwhelmed. The mozzarella and basil were deliciously fresh and local. The balsamic vinaigrette was probably the best I have had. We also got some potatoes that tasted like tater skins. Everything is fresh made to order so can have additions or subtraction as needed. They sell the waffles in shelf stable packs as well. Just need their website to ship them so we can have them again, so delicious.

It was fun to try their Liège waffles (brioche-style with pearl sugar) but I didn’t like them as much as traditional American waffles or other Belgian waffles. They were too crunchy and yeasty. My order was well prepared with bananas and nuts and a side of eggs. The flavors were great. I just would have preferred them on a different waffle. The lack of non-dairy milk for coffee was disappointing and the only vegan option was tofu scramble but the service was excellent and it was well worth the try.

With a 4.5 rating and a name like Wake Up and Waffle, how could we not try it?
There was a 50 minute wait, but it was worth it.
Friendly service and excellent food.
I tried the Eye Opener on our server’s recommendation and my husband chose the fresh squeezed carrot ginger juice. Both were very good.
I’m not much of a waffle fan, but our server said theirs were unique and worth a try. I had the Elvis, with peanut butter, bananas, and bacon. So very tasty.
My husband had the Waffle Brunch Sandwich with Bacon. Also very good.
The meals were just the right amount of food even when we were very hungry.
Highly recommend.

First stop during my trip to cedar point and I ate my best breakfast here. The waitress was very kind with me. I ordered a standard breakfast with bacon and waffle. Everything was tasty and well cooked, especially the red skin potatoes. The waffles are nearly as good as the one we have in Belgium so don’t hesitate to try them . I can see me come back here if I ever go back to Sandusky.

Are we just Emily was wonderfully attentive and knowledgeable about the menu items. I didn’t enjoy my basil blonde bloody Mary. She immediately offered to get me a classic. The food was excellent as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Not from around here (in the area to go to Cedar Point), but we tried this place today and we’re not disappointed. Nathan was amazing and so helpful when we couldn’t decide what to order. His service was spectacular and the food was too. Would 1000% come back!

I was pleasantly surprised. Our food was good and the service was timely. We went during what I’d consider the off-season, so the restaurant wasn’t crowded. Parking was convenient and we were seated right away.
I ordered the classic brunch sandwich with added sausage, while the kids enjoyed creating their own waffle sundaes. My sister opted for an omelet with several add-ons. The extras, though, nearly doubled the price of each meal. On the bright side, the specialty coffees were perfect for a cold winter morning—I had the Buckeye coffee and she tried the Waffle coffee.
Overall, it’s a nice spot, and I’d definitely return.
