I’ve eaten sushi all over the country. Wahoo just might be the best I’ve ever had! The steak in the General was cooked absolutely perfectly and the Philly and Spider rolls we equally as delicious.

Great service and good fish. I know many people are uneasy about eating sushi in Wyoming, but today it’s easy to overnight fresh fish no problem. So go eat some sushi, because it’s delicious.

So disappointed. Went for lunch one day and had a great experience. Everything was awesome, fresh fish, fresh rice, fresh avacodos. The chef said the fish came in on a plane from Seattle, and I believed him.
Went back tonight and ordered $60.00 worth of food to go… not the same experience. Imitation Krab in every roll, brown avocados, some kind of rubber “tuna” that couldn’t be cut with a knife, and a nasty fish taste that soy sauce can’t even cover up… Albertsons sells better sushi than that.
I don’t know if it’s the chef or management, but someone is cutting corners.
Save your money and go buy a steak.

This place is a joke. I was not expecting much from a sushi resturant in Sheridan Wyoming but I had high hopes after dining at a sushi resturant in Laramie of all places. Where do I start? For being the only customers in the resturant at the time, you would think getting a water refil would not be that hard. Turns out it was. The whole place reaks of lazyness. Instead of getting a roll made to order, we got pieces of premade rolls. How can you call your self a sushi chef? To add insault to ingury one of the lackluster rolls had canned tuna in it! Are you serious canned tuna? I ask for sushi and you give me canned garbage. I would expect that at Dragon Wall but not at a place with sushi in its name. Speaking of Dragon Wall, did you run out of rolls and have to steal your California Roll from their buffet? Bland, dry and dredful. I’ll give you a pass on the tough eel, but here is a hint, cook it longer. People of Sheridan, I know were all excited to have our first sushi resturant, but let this one die. We deserve a sushi restaurant that has quality and integrity. If your thinking about trying sushi for the first time, don’t abuse your taste buds, go to a place that treats the fish as the work of art it should be.

I really enjoy visiting there. They have an appetizer called mixed pokey. Consists of several fish bites, diced vegetables, and roe in a semi spicy sesame oil and soy sauce. Highly recommended.

Recently moved back to Sheridan from Arizona and the product at Wahoo is right up there with places like RA Sushi in Arizona. I highly recommend Wahoo for anyone needing to get their sushi fix!
