TLDR- portions are extremely small, go somewhere else.
Wahaha used to be awesome, I used to eat there all the time and it was phenomenal.
Their food tastes roughly the same now, but the shrink-flation is absolute insanity. To-go boxes were absolutely the tiniest portions I have ever received from a Chinese place anywhere. Maybe 8 oz of food total, and most of it was plain fried rice.
Pay a dollar or 2 more anywhere else and get literally double the food.

I recently visited Wahaha in Edmond, OK, and it turned out to be a great find. The menu has a nice variety of Chinese dishes, from American-style favorites to more authentic options. Food is really yummy. Service is good. They really need to do a deep clean of the ear in area. Really uncomfortable eating in such an unclean space. Salt and pepper shakers/table cloth/ table flowers and soy sauce container visibly filthy. Makes me apprehensive about cleanliness of the kitchen area.

The food tastes pretty good but the dinner portions are smaller than lunch in most places. I swear they charged me $9.50 for what they called a dinner size portion of shrimp fried rice. This was less than two cups of rice and six small shrimp. I also ordered a dinner sized beef lo mein which had about 5 little scraps of meat. That amount of meat was not even 3 ounces. The general tso’s chicken was tasty but also a small portion with one cup of rice. Each of these orders were $9.50 and did not come with any egg rolls or anything. I bought the egg rolls separately and they were the standard ones you get in the grocery store freezer but were the size of my pointer finger. All together I spent about $35 but I’m very disappointed because we hardly got any food. They got me once but they will not ever get me again! I feel like I was scammed!
The taste of the food was good but they will do better business if they give people a fair portion for the price they are charging. Never again!

This Chinese restaurant is a true hole in the wall in Edmond located on Broadway, but the service and everything I have tried on the menu is authentic and so flavorful and delicious.
Don’t judge it by the outside or by how many cars in the parking lot. This is a true Chinese food gem and the best hot and sour soup in Oklahoma.

The first day I moved to Oklahoma, I ordered takeout from here. Best decision I made. Ive lived in several states and by far Wahaha is the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. 10/10 I never stop recommending this place. I come in as often as I can. Definitely get the string lamb to start, it’s delicious. The pan fried noodles are even better. Their lunch specials are so cheap and delicious

Don’t let the exterior food you. This isn’t Chinese take out it’s a proper authentic Chinese restaurant with takeout prices! The food is cooked fresh and quickly and comes out hot! If you ask for extra spicy they’ll give you extra spicy and it’s great! The staff is super friendly and attentive. Absolutely would recommend if you’re craving some really good Chinese!
