We ordered the Chef’s Tasting for Two which was perfect. For soup base, the Golden Chicken Soup was super flavorful. It balanced the spicy broth we got – Spicy Dripping Pot. SUPER spicy.
It’s definitely pricier than most hot pot restaurants. But worth a try!
5 people, $498.00, a little bit pricey, but every one was very satisfied.
If you’re looking for nice hot pot restaurant, highly recommend!
All of their servers are extremely friendly and helpful, but this time is exceptional; our server Nathan is extremely friendly and helpful. He assisted us in selecting food and recommending good items for us, as well as removing some unnecessary food that we did not need to order. He was right; all of the food he recommended was delicious and plentiful and luckily that whenever I go to a hotpot restaurant, I always order too much food, he helped me this time.
Nathan is a caring person (in my opinion); he stopped at my table several times to ensure we had enough soup base, filled out the drink, and asked if there was anything else he could do to assist. He definitely deserved my good tip on that day, and I will return and request him the next time.
The Wagyu House lives up to what it promises to deliver. It is a premium, authentic hot pot experience with high quality meat, immersive atmosphere, and rapid service. My favorites were the sauce and snack bar that gave even the most picky eater all the power to make their specific style of sauce. The side snacks and fruits were very similar to my experience eating in restaurants in China and felt that they did not sacrifice in quality even for the unlimited items. As other reviewers mentioned, they even include a Chinese face-shifting performer in the middle of dining.
My only critique is the member business model that this restaurant pushes heavily. This restaurant has a membership for $38/year and many items have a non-member price, sometimes nearly double the member price. In my subjective opinion, the way that this restaurant pushes the membership onto you throughout your meal takes away from the dining experience, especially for the foodies out there who find beauty in exploring many food options rather than sticking to one restaurant. However, I would still recommend this restaurant as a perfect place to take a date or bring your family to.
Make sure you make reservations online!!!
For our soup base, we went with the Wagyu Tomato Pot, and Vegetable Tomato Pot.
For meats, we ordered their Wagyu Short Rib, Wagyu Top Blade, and their Libyan Black Pork. Also went with Tiger Shrimp, Seabass. Also tried their Assorted Meat Balls plate.
Service was good, and the server we had was attentive.
The meats quality were very top notch. Be sure to not overcook each meat slice, since they are thin and can be easily overcook. Just a few seconds inside the soup will cook the meat thoroughly.
For two people, we spent above $190. Be prepared to pay top dollar for Hot Pot.
Overall dining experience was “Okay” however, for that price, you can go to a nice Steakhouse, or a fancy Japanese restaurant. Not sure if I would want to pay that for hotpot.
