I must say this is the perfect example of an Alabama diner dive. The prices are amazing, but truthfully it is absolutely just a little burger joint diner. The burgers are very good and they are large. You have a choice of quarter pound or half pound pattys and you can have a double. The half pound double is a big, big hamburger.
Truthfully, the sweet potato fries left something to be desired and the rest is at best OK lunch food. Do NOT expect dietary options. It’s Eva and they will look at you like, “Bless your heart!”
Service was OK but nothing really to write home to mother about.
If you go to eat here regularly, it is all about having a decent greasy lunch at a really good price. Give it a try.

Would have been nice to know this place doesn’t accept debit or credit prior to driving 10 mins or so off of 65 for breakfast. They make sure to let you know they don’t take reservations, in that same manner cash only would’ve been nice to know. Hopefully someone else who’s traveling doesn’t get in the restaurant to order and have to flip a menu to read that it’s a cash only restaurant. I’m sure the food and all is good, but we didn’t try anything.

Food was real and fresh. Our burgers were made quickly. The meat was real ground beef. Toppings were fresh, maybe even locally grown. Service was on point. Waitress was very peppy and was all smiles. I told my son it might be because I am good-looking but he quickly said that was NOT the case. Either way, she was great. The ONLY things I’d change would be A) maybe season the burger patties just a tad more. I had to add salt to my otherwise delicious burger. And B) invest in fountain drinks. We both ordered Sprite and we got a glass of ice and a canned drink. Refills cost you another drink price – and they bring you another canned drink. Overall, we really enjoyed our first visit to Wagon Wheel. We’ll definitely be back for more.

I’m a retired truck driver and I’ve eaten at thousands of places. I’ve got to say that was the worst food I’ve ever tried to eat. I ordered BBQ and it had a lot of water in it. Just terrible. My wife ordered the hamburger steak it was just a Patty plain with no seasoning. We will never waste our time or money there.

A friend from church took me there for lunch. The food was good but could have been warmer/hotter. It would have tasted even better. My first time at the wagon wheel. Will have to try them for breakfast sometime.

I got the Hobo Hash browns plate . Yes, I paid $8.00 for it and thinking it was going to be big and a lot of food on plate. But I was WRONG. One thing it is NOT WORTH the $8.00 and second a little bit of food. Not even half a sausage patty, hardly any bacon (little crumble pieces of both), three little dinky pieces of green pepper (smidge), onions(smidge) and then you had the little square potatoes. I really should of returned it but people were in there. Never again will I eat there or spend $8.00 on a plate of NOTHING. Wasn’t HAPPY . p.s. that was our second time there .. First time didn’t go well either. We sat there for a while before we got served a menu and it wasn’t busy
