We were there three times during our stay to explore the Badlands. There were only three options to dine in nearby our hotel. This one was the best. The waitress and gentleman at the bar were kind and the food served was great. The menu was small. However, it contained burgers, fried chicken, fries and pizza.

We stumbled upon this great little place while exploring the South area of Badlands National Park. We were immediately greeted and directed to sit wherever we wanted to. Our Server was very friendly and food came out quickly.

We ordered a burger with onion petals and steak on a bun with a side of potato chips. Burger was good, steak was flavourful, a little chewy but good flavour and size. Prices were reasonable, relaxed, casual place with pool table and some machine games.

Lots of $1.00 bills around signed by guests, which was interesting to read. Wifi for guests may have been helpful as we needed to check our location proximity to next destination.

We also stopped by the general store down the same road to inquire about renting a side by side vehicle. We only had time for an hour, so we didn’t rent one as the lowest price offered was for longer than that and I didn’t want to spend $180US for an hour. Good deal for longer, it just didn’t work for us. Same owner runs restaurant and store, I wish you all the luck, you’ve got great businesses, in a great area!!!

Considering the options in the area, this is a great place for dinner (and lunch). The burgers are good and large, and seem to be homemade; the pizza looks nearly too perfect for homemade but if it is from a supermarket, it’s the best freezer pizza I ever had!
It’s not cheap but worth it.

A cute hidden gem! Didn’t expect too much for a place in Interior, SD (no offense meant toward any locals) but after a day of playing at the Baja OHV Staging Area we found ourselves a wee bit peckish and in need of sustenance. A quick sweep of various apps (Yelp/Google Maps) we stumbled across the Wagon Wheel Bar averaging about 4 stars. 7 minutes drive and we were there. It was very quaint and certainly local. We found the place charming and clean (the bathrooms were spotless) and the service was polite and professional. The food was simple (no lettuce, tomato, etc with the sandwiches) but delicious. Overall 4 Stars is accurate. Nice, clean and simple but good. Worth a stop if you’re in the area.

We were beat after a day of back country hiking in the Badlands and this place was absolutely what we needed. The food was great, the drinks were cold, and the music was good. Staff was wonderful and fast. A gem in Interior.

Food was not very good. The menu was small with either pizza or fried foods (French fries, fried cheese, fried onion rings for sides and then chicken tenders, crispy chicken sandwich, chicken nuggets, burger). All entrees came with chips which was just a bag of lays potato chips. The entrees were cheap but small portions. Burgers looks thin and chicken tenders were extremely undercooked. I bit into a chewy chicken tender and realized it was raw chicken inside the breading (see pic).
Bar had a good atmosphere with decor but service was pretty slow.y group was there 2 hours and it is not a big place, definitely not so busy that taking our order and getting food should have taken that long.

Excellent local bar with nice amount of food items. This place is about 10 min drive from the Badlands National Park. The variety of adult beverages is very large. The food is delicious specially their bison burguers. I have to give a shot out to our marvelous and unique server. I said this as she was the server, bartender, cashier, cook, busboy and probably the manager. Incredible service from one person tending to many people at that time of the day. Great place to come to and have a beer and some food. If you like to gamble there are slot machines, a pool table and a touch tunes machine to play your favorite music. Overall a great experience. I highly recommend this location.

After a day of discovering the badlands area a welcoming place. Silvio’s attention and food recommendation was great! We had the Ribeye steak sandwich and the Shrimp basket with onion petals all quite tasty. Enjoyed a few drinks and met very nice local people. We will definitely come back.
