Had the pleasure of seeing the owner and her daughter at Walmart yesterday, and discussing briefly the previous dining experience which was very poor. I pledged to stop back in and try them again. Today’s visit was a pleasant surprise, with prompt attentive service, cleaner booths and floors, and the food cooked properly. The only disappointment regarding the food, was the pork chops have become significantly thinner, reducing the meat portion substantially. Perhaps they chose another meat supplier, but the end result is that the consumer gets about 30%-40% less meat than they would have previously. Nonetheless, major steps forward for this restaurant, with cleanliness markedly improved, and the quality of the food hitting the table equally improved. Kudos to owner and her daughter for their commitment to higher standards, and implementing changes to address the concerns I highlighted in my previous review. I feel confident encouraging patrons who have had a bad experience at this location, to give them another try. I did, and was pleasantly surprised.

Waited 10 minutes for our order to be taken. Food was cold (not lukewarm warm-cold) after sitting in the staging area for approximately 5 minutes. Two servers in the back room while two others on the floor somewhat cleaning. Had to wait for the one that seemed to be doing everything to finish with her smoke break before having food warmed in the microwave. I wish I could give zero stars for -certainly not worth any at all.

I’m not sure where to start. We ordered two platters and got only most of one platter and a waffle? Then when we were served just the eggs missing from my parts of the meal, they were cold. Watched it get made with my husbands and set aside. Then watched it sit there on the counter to get cold. They scraped the eggs we were served off a plate sitting done on the counter onto a new plate and fluffed them and served them. The pancakes and waffle were good, the rest of the food was bland and not presented very nicely. Ate with an empty cup, finally just had the waitress ring up only what we ate since we didn’t get all our food and half of what we got was cold. The music taste was bland and the words were hard to make out so it was just overwhelming and underwhelming in all the wrong ways.

My wife and I ate here five years ago and I had been thinking about it ever since!!! This place serves one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever ate!!!
While on a recent visit to Kentucky, my father and I stopped here and it was just as fabulous as I remembered.
My father had the #4 (breakfast) and I had the #3 (breakfast) because you can’t go to the waffle king and NOT get a waffle. I opted to have the waffle topped with strawberries and cream and wasn’t disappointed at all with the decision. The eggs on both orders were cooked to perfection just as we had ordered, the hash browns were golden and perfectly crispy and the bacon was some of the best bacon I’ve ever eaten. My father’s came with biscuits and gravy and that was the only thing I wasn’t fond of. The gravy was not near thick enough. A bit watery.
Brittany was our server and she was an absolute angel. My father accidentally spilled his coffee and she was there with towels and a fresh cup immediately. She was the definition of a perfect server in every way. The food was brought to us quickly as well.
The atmosphere was that of an old fashioned diner and very comfortable to eat in.
In conclusion, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant!!! You will not be disappointed be sure to ask for Brittany as your server.
I give it 9 out of 10!!!

When you walk in you can see the tale tale signs that this used to be a Waffle House. The waffles are better (they’re thicker and have a better flavor than Waffle House). The ham & cheese omelette is good, but the grits are terrible.

I ordered my food to go. I watched the cook put my food in a bag and when she did, she turned away so i couldn’t see! When i got home i seen why she did that. She had put my food in a Styrofoam box with no foil or anything underneath it straight from the pan so the entire bottom of the box was melted out and melted in my food. She knew what she had done so instead of correcting it, she just hit it from meto let me see it when I get home I am posting pictures of this. It was outright ridiculous and nasty and I will never go back there and would never recommend anybody to go there.

Excellent service! Never had to ask the waitress to refill my cup. The food was excellent. Ordered the 3 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, grits, toast, coffee and a Belgian waffle. Came with butter and jelly. Great service, good cook, good food, clean silverware and table. Restroom was clean and soap dispenser worked.
Can’t ask for more than that! I’ll be back if I’m coming through and I do recommend this establishment. It’s conveniently located and easy access.

Nov-2019. First time here. A two-sided menu with Breakfast on one side and Lunch/Dinner on the other. Good, fresh coffee! The grilled chicken and baked potato was pretty good. UPDATED REVIEW. Went on 10-2020 ordered waffle, 2 eggs, & bacon. It was delicious. Social distance seating & masks sign. Nice waitress. Fresh coffee. Will return.
