We stopped for breakfast. They have a decent menu and pretty fair prices. Was very quiet when we were there so plenty of seating. We ordered pancakes, sausage gravy and biscuits and a western omelet. Everything was really yummy!!

My husband and I were in town for one day at the end of June. When we woke up Sunday morning, we knew we had to try out Waffle Hut and we were not disappointed. It had the exactly hometown feel we were hoping for. All of the servers were friendly, the food was tasty, and everything was affordable.

While traveling we are always looking for a local dinner to try out. This stop in West Virginia turned out to be a good spot to get some good food. The open face roast beef was very good. It was a big portion too My wife had a cheeseburger and tater tots. She said it was a good burger.
I will add that this place was very busy when we stopped in. The place like many places seemed short staffed. The lady that waited on us did a good job.. We do hope to stop by here again when traveling this way.

The restaurant is connected to a motel office so you can park on that side which we weren’t aware of til after. We had the pecan waffles with sausage, it took a little long for our food but when it came it was hot and delicious. The portions are a good size. The prices are reasonable. The tables in the dining area were mostly dirty but I think they were short staffed so they were doing their best. It was pretty busy. Our waitress was awesome with a great sense of humor. We will definitely eat here again in the future when in the area.

I hate to do low marks on the atmosphere because the interior is dated but that in no way effects the quality of the food if you are ordering the right thing. And the only thing you should be ordering is the tomato gravy (creamed tomatoes) and the golden waffles. Tomato gravy is a staple for my family and I grew up on it. No where else I have ever been even offers it let alone heard of it. Next time you are in the area do yourself a favor and get the tomatoes and a golden waffle. The blueberry pancakes are absolutely stuffed with blueberries. Don’t believe me? Order it and tell me I’m wrong because you can’t. Either way, those food choices are delectable.

Definitely an “only locals”place. It’s “seat your self” with no menus on the tables. After 10 minutes of being ignored,The waitress did eventually come over and with no greeting no offer of menu said “drinks” ?? Then we waited and waited and left. Travelers don’t Waste your time.
