Waffle House: A Midnight Nostalgia Trip
Waffle House has always held a special place in my heart, so I was thrilled to discover one nearby. I walked in around midnight and was greeted immediately with warmth and kindness—such a comforting start.
I ordered the Texas sausage and egg melt along with a double hash brown topped with cheese and onions. Everything was hot, flavorful, and satisfying. There’s something wonderful about being able to enjoy a full, hearty meal in the middle of the night.
The staff were incredibly courteous, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, and the whole experience felt like a perfect ten out of ten.

Just a bad experience all around. The guy who was the cook was outside smoking when I pulled up and yes he washed his hands and wore gloves but somehow smokers don’t realize that smoke still stays on them. The conversation that started was about politics and was very unorthodox. The service, food and atmosphere all were not up to par. Would not recommend.

Whoever you had cooking on night shift 12/17/24 at about 1230 am is an absolute master at his craft. Nobody in the history of waffle house has ever eaten a Philly cheese steak hashbrown bowl with bacon that was as good as the one I ate 20 minutes ago. Merry Christmas and time to pay that boy a nice bonus in the performance review for great quality food and customer service.

Been coming to this place for years this was my worst experience ever the cook was very rude period. The waitress was nice but the place was dirty period. Looks like hes been. Using the egg ball? Forever. Should be changing that out often… Also my waffles were burnt in my sausage and bacon the cook was trying to hide behind waffle mix.. Also touching food with no gloves.

Wow! The last time I was here, semi disappointing. Today’s visit was horrible. When I first arrived, it was semi busy and I didn’t know what I wanted. Somebody sat down next to me was able to place their order and get their drinks before I got the coffee I asked for. So I got up and left, I then went to get some other things that I needed to get done handled. I decided to come back and give this place a second chance. What a mistake that was! Again I was ignored. When you ask for coffee don’t they normally give you a spoon? I guess you have to ask for everything you want anymore. Money is hard to come by and good luck getting me to ever come back here to spend it again.

While the food was good. We finally got our drinks after we finished our meals, even though we were the only customers in the place and asked twice.
The 3 stars is for the good food, the negative 2 stars are for lack of service.
Once drinks finally arrived, we had empty dishes piled up all over table.
Then waffles finished the meal, they were good … however it took 3 mins to get someone’s attention to ask for syurp.
We weren’t greeted, nor thanked .. I don’t even think the two young male employees realized we left even after we paid.
This is the FIRST bad reviews or experience at Waffle House ever for us, we drove 45 mins to come eat here as a weekend treat for our family. Very sad.

Linn was our server and she was amazing and very attentive. Meanwhile she had these awful people next to us that complained about their bill being $3 extra for bacon they ordered and she forgot to put it on the check… so they made a whole scene claiming they should pay what the check originally said before she changed it to the correct amount for the FOOD THEY ATE. Edgar the manager(I think was his name) , handled all of this amazingly when called over. There’s only so much you can do with stupidity… So sorry you guys had to go through that, you all were amazing to us and the food was incredible! Thank you!
