The General Chicken tasted like nothing but teriyaki n soy sauce!… Not what I was expecting and the crab rangoons like most places are appetizer decoys (just straight cream cheese no other flavor) overall poor…. Just traveling back to KC and stopped in the Bamboo Garden.
Nice selection of tasty Chinese cuisine.
The chef and others were always checking the buffet and adding fresh.
I loved all the different chicken dishes.
Ice cream too
The entire restaurant is very clean and inviting.
All of the employees were very nice, chatted with a lovely woman about the possible stormy weather moving in.
It’s wonderful meeting great people in my travels.

Heard good reviews about this place, but…
I beg to differ. They must have a cult following in order to rate this as “good.” It was bland, bland, bland especially for the price! And the entrées were too soupy and the meat was questionable.
The people who rate this as “good” remind me of the kid that only ever wanted chicken nuggets growing up or only orders cheese pizza or pasta with no sauce. If that’s your vibe, you’ll love this place!
I ordered through the drive-thru so I can’t rate the interior, however, it was difficult to get my questions answered and the order right. They were borderline rude until I said is was my first time eating there. My kids barely even like Chinese food. This may be the final straw for them.

I’ve been coming here since I was a child but I just had to bring my California native husband here. He was pleasantly surprised. The cashew chicken is the best around. The crab Rangoon, egg rolls, egg drop soup and general chicken are also very good. Excellent service. We will most definitely be back.

Called in an order picked it up. The food used to be very good. This was just plain nasty $31 and I fed it to my dog cashew chicken taste like raw fish. The chop Suey taste the same. Also sauce was not the same chicken taste and smelt like raw fish. The sauce didn’t even taste the same just nasty.Will never go back.

Nice clean facility. Ordered and brough home lomane, SS chicken, Fried Rice, and crab rangoo. Did not like the taste. But could tell it was made in good condition. Just not much flavor.

Chinese buffets don’t have a tall bar to pass for me. You know what to expect. The food was good, but fewer choices than I had expected. Still walked away with a full tummy, so that’s a win in my book.

I rarely leave negative reviews but I do have to say that this was the most unpleasant experience in dining I’ve ever had. We came for dinner and the food was probably left over from lunch. Very bland, not good at all.
