Excellent service; we had Gracie, and she was fantastic. Very attentive and efficient . The food was also delicious and perfect. They were busy, but there wasn’t a wait at all, the food came out exactly when expected. The whole staff was like a well oiled machine, you could hear folks calling out for something and it got done. There was a man at the front counter wearing a red hat that was greeting everyone that came in and making sure everyone got acknowledged and a quick chit chat with no slow down at all in his service. Very nice atmosphere.

We came here on Christmas Day traveling to Tennessee and we usually stop at Waffle House locations as it’s the only thing that’s open on Christmas, but this one might have been the best one we’ve been to every year we’ve traveled! Our server, Corey was super nice and helpful! He told jokes and talked to us while we were waiting for our food. Clayton, who seated us was very nice too! Overall the food, the service, and atmosphere were amazing!!!

Well, it would not let me leave two reviews, so here we go.
Isaiah is real professional and tired to explain to the cook “Heather” what I had ordered. She snaps at him like a drill sergeant only hearing what she wants to hear.
I ordered a double quarter burger with cheese to be served open faced. That would be 2 buns on the plate, meat on each bun, and 1 piece of cheese on each patty. Then cover it with chili. It’s pretty simple. Explained more than once, even where the cook was able to hear.
Notice there is no mention of hash browns or anything else.
The drill sergeant thought she knew everything didn’t know much after all. She would be rated a negative 3 stars as Isaiah would be rated 5 stars for his professionalism and attempt to explain what had been ordered.
Cassandra , oh lord, please teach.
Please, Cassandra, teach them. 4-28-25 trying to order again, I just got up and walked out.
5-3-25 Cassandra is back on shift and no screw ups.

Great bunch of ladies! Especially our waitress that heated up my syrup for me because I don’t know her name, sorry. We all had a very long day driving down from KY and then 5 hrs back toward home and we all decided to stop, it was a very hospitable experience. Thanks y’all

First I was attending to a lady who was also very professional but I want to think that she is new because I was ordering and she did not understand my order very well but I want to emphasize that very professional she went to ask for help from Miss Ashly and attended me with a lot of professionalism how to treat a client.
I am a truck driver and I travel all over the country and I love the food of waffles house but in almost all its locations especially in TROI, IL has a super horrible customer service has no education the waitresses treat you as if you were asking them regular.
They have thrown the coffee on the table or my food that has even come off the plate and with a very bad attitude, that’s why I want to congratulate your team from this town of waffles house for their good service and customer service, especially Miss ASHLY Thanks a lot

Waffle House is always good no matter what time you go. All star special. Nom nom. Fun fact. The founders were veterans. When I see Cass here, it brings back memories from being in high school. She’s been here since 07 so it’s like she’s family. And if you’re curious, I’ve confirmed that FEMA has a book on Waffle House for natural disasters and base it off of how bad it is if Waffle House is open or not in that specific location

I love WH. But listen, this one, so far, has been my favorite. I’ll tell you why. . .
1. The waitress was a little weird, but I’m a little weird so that’s okay. I don’t remember her name, but she was great.
2. EVERYONE greeted me when I walked in. Not just one or two mediocre hellos but HOWDY, WELCOME TO WAFFLE HOUSE, etc. You get my drift. It’s great to be acknowledged when you walk in.
3. The cook, Edwin, I believe was his name, did a fabulous job on both the hash browns and the light bacon I ordered. I like my bacon done and floppy. Not crispy flat to break your teeth, or so undone that it’s hard to chew and you swallow and hope for the best so you don’t have to chew anymore. The bacon he cooked was perfect! Brown and done yet solid enough to stay together and get the thick bite your mouth wants to feel when you’re eating a BLT.
The hash browns were also perfect! Crunchy and golden on the outside and soft and fluffy on the middle.
3. The staff were all communicating and still doing their own thing. The flow was just good!
Go here. You won’t regret it. Props to them because they were packed when I got there. I sat at the tall bar. From order, to service, to out the door was about 30 minutes.

Nothing beats a good waffle house breakfast! Food was good, normal waffle house feel and although our little waitress seemed to be new and possibly in training she was very attentive and willing to learn from her trainer(the cook)
