My husband and I stopped to charge our Tesla in Brinkley, Arkansas while on a roadtrip. In front of the charging station is a Waffle House. We decided to walk over and eat dinner. Immediately after entering we were greeted by the wait staff and grill cook, Tim (which I immediately thought to be a pleasant surprise). After taking our order, the cook came over and told us we came in at a good time and reference his “2 million dollar club” shirt. He explained to us the meaning, which I found very impressive. When our food arrived, it was obvious that he was a pro. Eggs perfectly soft and hash browns golden brown. Our waitress, Alexis, was personable and refilled our drinks attentively. Something I appreciate even more than good food is passion and kindness – both can be found here.

Very cute looking restaurant from the outside same as it looks from the inside with the kitchen being in the dining area and you can see where things are cooking.

Traveling through Arkansas from California. Looking for a restaurant that served breakfast and came accross Waffle House. I’m glad we did! The food was AMAZING and the staff was so welcoming and kind. Walked in and immediately felt the homely atmosphere. We will definitely stop again on our way home and on our next trip to the south.
