I love this Waffle House. I’ve been a couple of times in recent months, and after each time, I’ve left feeling full and a little happier than I was when I walked in. I love watching the way the employees work as a team. They are all very professional, and the respect and kindness with which they seem to treat each other is sweet and refreshing. The food is consistently delicious and fresh, and service is excellent. I even forgot something there, and one of the employees went out of her way to get it back to me. I highly recommend starting your day at this Waffle House.

I’m reaching out to share feedback about an experience I had today, with the hope that it can be addressed going forward.

I am a regular customer and order the same meal each visit, so I’m very familiar with how my order is typically taken, called, and prepared. Today, there was someone I wasn’t familiar with (he was new) so I politely tried to ensure my order was written correctly. Unfortunately, the employee taking my order was dismissive and insisted the order was correct, despite my attempts to clarify. To avoid conflict, I agreed and stepped aside.

The cook was very kind and professional, and definitely knew what she was doing! Her name was Shelby and I want to make sure that is recognized. However, when my order was called out, it was clear it had been taken incorrectly. I also overheard the server speaking to another employee about me in an unprofessional manner and using profanity, which was uncomfortable and disappointing as a customer.

I was also charged nearly double what I normally pay for the same order. When I received the food, multiple items were incorrect:
• Hashbrowns were made “all the way,” which includes jalapeños (I am allergic and could not eat the hashbrowns)
• I received one egg instead of two, and it was cooked fried hard rather than over medium
• Bacon was substituted for sausage

I understand that mistakes can happen, especially with a new team, but the combination of incorrect food, overcharging, and the attitude I experienced made this visit frustrating. The cook made what was called… NO fault on Shelby. And I’ve always had positive experiences here in the past, which is why I felt it was important to bring this to management’s attention.

Server: “Jackie” (name on name tag) “John” (given by other server)He was extremely rude, did not care to listen to my order, argued with me that it was right when it was indeed wrong, then proceeded to talk about me to other coworkers when trying to insure that my order was correct. And also over charged me.

In all my experiences at THIS waffle house, this has by far been the WORST!

Officially my favorite Waffle House ever! The crew we had today is hands a-freaking-mazing!! Don’t ask me their names because I’m horrible with names but I can pick them out of a lineup any day. Thanks for the laughs, entertainment and the best food I’ve had in a hot minute, I am touched (not in the creepy way ya pervs but in the soul touching way that only great food and better company can give you.) Oh and you’re welcome for the entertainment provided from us lol

5 stars for a Waffle house? Really? Yes, really. The service was good. The coffee was fresh. The food came out quickly and was actually seasoned well. The thing that got them to the fifth star was the clean, and I mean clean, bathrooms. Good job all around.

For the 20-25ish minutes my husband and I were here, we had a great experience. Waffle House is always our first stop on a road trip and I’m glad we stopped at this one.

Stefanie was fast, friendly, and efficient; I’d also like to point out how well the all female crew worked together and I appreciated all the jovial Christmas decor and pleasant ambience. We’re from Central Texas where patrons get into fist fights (and sometimes shot) at the local Waffle Houses but there weren’t any sketchy vibes here at this one. There were also TWO mirrors in the women’s bathroom, which is nice in case ladies needed to freshen up their face here.

5/5 stars. We bought a mug to commemorate the first leg of our journey and I look forward to telling the story of the nicest Waffle House we’ve been to when someone asks about it after I hang it up on our ‘Wall of Souveneir Mugs’ at home.

I’ve been to many Waffle Houses and this one was, by far, the best service I ever received. Place was packed so I took a chair at the counter. I was immediately tended to. My waffle, bacon and coffee were in front of me within 5 minutes. I observed all the ladies working and they hustled hard. They even had time to ask me TWICE if everything was ok. Mel was my server but everyone had smiles on their faces. I recommend stopping here and experiencing a Waffle House that strives to serve. And please, TIP YOUR SERVERS BIG!!!!

We were traveling through your lil town and decided to stop in. The greetings from us entering was welcomed after a long day of travels. The waitress was immediately at our table. She was wonderful. And the cook made sure our supper was perfect. It was fresh and hot. Thank y’all for helping these weary travelers find a wonderful place to stop at. See ya when we come back through

Can never go wrong with Waffle House. We are here in Henderson LA . Food was good especially the pecan waffle and of course never ending strong coffee. There is oversize parking in the back, entrance through the Texico.

Came in at 3pm on a Saturday, nice and quiet, delicious food, clean clean clean restaurant and friendly staff.

Can never pass a Waffle House when I’m outside of Texas and I’m glad I stopped at this one.
