Bar none, Waffle House is always an interesting place to eat. Food is consistent across the chain and the atmosphere is southern diner. It’s fun to watch the people who work the grill cook and listen to the waitresses calling orders. It’s all part of the weird charm.

Went in hungry, came out feeling satisfied. I was drawing a blank on what to order. Thankfully, the waitress was very helpful. She suggested the cheese steak omelette since I didn’t want any pork or chicken. After putting on the seasoning, I enjoyed it quite a bit. This Waffle House didn’t let me down, thanks to those working there.

Everyone was very friendly and informative, especially about local(Robert, LA), establishments. The food was hot and delicious. I had my usual, “A Grand Slam” 2 eggs, scrambled, bacon, hash browns, smothered, covered, and peppered! Of course, while I was waiting, a large coffee and light, fun conversation made time fly by.

Glass was in my food. A plate must had broken at some time and gotten into the hashbrowns. We told them and they still continued to make more hash browns with the same mix. No incident report was filed they didn’t get my number to follow-up or anything. They just said sorry and blamed the prior shift and went on using the same hashbrown mixture for everyone.

First time here, service was great. Food was good and out quickly. My only complaint was no butter for my waffle. No biggie as the waffles are good. The waitress was great. She understood my brothers dietary restrictions and offered him a couple of options.
