This Waffle House is a little different from others I’ve been to. The layout isn’t the standard setup, and it feels like it may be a training location or something similar. Even so, or maybe because of it, the service here is consistently excellent.
Every visit we’ve had great experiences with the staff. They’re attentive, friendly, and especially good with kids, which matters a lot when you’re dining with a very hungry tweenager. They’re patient, kind, and make the whole meal feel easy instead of stressful.
Despite being a bit different, this has become one of our favorite Waffle House locations in the city. Good food, great service, and a place we’re always happy to come back to.

The service was fantastic and quick, and they were busy. This local has a buy one all star get one half price. They had parking at this location the other one went to had no parking it was a walk location.

I had a very disappointing experience at this location. When my party and I arrived, we were told we could not be served because it “wasn’t her section,” yet other customers who were not there before us were being helped without issue. We were ready to order and eat, but instead felt dismissed and unwelcome.
The way the situation was handled made us feel uncomfortable and singled out. No one offered assistance or tried to resolve the issue. As paying customers, we expected basic courtesy and equal service. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
I hope management looks into this and works on ensuring all guests are treated fairly and respectfully.

Service here was terrible!! Manager (Stephanie) confirmed this was a training location…she was totally drab and unpleasant so I understand why the staff was so off. Took 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Once the food came it wasn’t correct. Took an additional 20 minutes for waffle and check. After all the complaining that went on Stephanie managed to still disappear and not assist her staff. So I empathize with the newbies…WAFFLE HOUSE…Everyone can’t be a leader and you definitely need someone with leadership and motivation skills cause Ms. Stephanie just wants to stock bread and sugar.

I had a wonderful experience here today before work. I sat in the middle seat at the bar, directly in front of the grill, so I got a front row seat to something magnificent. Although they were slammed busy, they worked as a team. They were well staffed, and even management was helping out— it was all hands on deck at Waffle House. As someone that has worked in service industry for a long time, I loved to see how seamlessly they worked their system. Amongst all the chaos, I witnessed harmony within their team. I was welcomed and taken care of by Crystal, and she made sure to check in on me throughout my time there. The food was great, and my experience set me up for a great day at work. I ordered anhead on line and I was missing a waffle and still had to wait 10 minutes for them to make it. The meat amount on my meal was less than what goes on a sandwich, I had more toast than meat. For $13 the amount of eggs and meat doesn’t add up. The place was full so I’m not sure if that’s why they made so many mistakes, I’ve came here several other times and the food portions and wait times have not been this low quality.

Cleanest Waffle House ive ever been in! Food was excellently prepared. All staff was so sweet. Management was on point with delegating and making sure staff was doing what needed to be done. Staff worked outstanding together. Definitely will be back to this location!

Stopped by the Gretna Waffle House for the first time and was blown away by the service. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. Food came out fast and exactly how I ordered it — hot, fresh, and delicious. You can tell the team here takes pride in what they do.

This Waffle House is the best one I’ve been to, the food service and atmosphere was 10/10. Our waiter was very attentive, the staff was friendly and had great work ethic! They all worked together to bring you the best food and experience! The manager was also so very friendly and made sure everything was great! I have heard great things about this location and had to check it out myself, they did not disappoint!
