If you’re looking for that classic Waffle House hospitality, do yourself a favor and stop by the South Lindbergh (I-55) location when Todd and Victoria are on the clock.
The Service
Victoria is an absolute rockstar. From the second I walked in, she made me feel like a regular. She’s fast, incredibly attentive, and has that rare ability to keep the whole floor running smoothly even when the post-rush crowd starts pouring in. My coffee never hit the bottom of the mug!
The Food
Todd is a wizard on the grill. It’s one thing to make breakfast; it’s another to make it perfectly. The hashbrowns were exactly how I asked for them (scattered, smothered, and covered), and the eggs were spot on. You can tell he takes pride in what he’s sliding across that counter.
The Vibe
What really stood out was the teamwork. Watching Todd and Victoria work together is like watching a well-oiled machine. They’ve got the chemistry and the hustle that makes this specific Waffle House stand out from the rest.
Bottom line: Great food, better people. I’ll definitely be back to this location specifically for them!

THE SWEETEST EXPERIENCE ♡
We were meeting friends for brunch to welcome my son to St Louis. We were originally told to head to Denny’s on Watson road, but when they arrived they were told it would be at least 30 minutes, even for eggs, because they had 1 cook and that cook was training. We were asked to meet the gang at this Waffle House and headed that way. We walked in, and we had a booth with a chair on the end. Our server was Jacqueline, and she was prompt, friendly and super efficient! Waffle House was pretty much in the same staffing situation as Denny’s, with a new cook, Todd! Todd was just as awesome as Jacqueline, and he even went above and beyond and gave my son a slice of pie, welcoming him to St Louis Coffee was always fresh and full, and the food was super yummy! Thank you!!

Shoutout to the cookTodd and our server Ripley —both did a fantastic job. The food was fresh and hot, eggs cooked perfectly, bacon crispy just how it should be. Our server was very attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we sat down. I love Waffle House, and I definitely want to keep this location around. If you’re craving Waffle House, this is the spot.

I went there tonight and had the best hash browns I have ever had. As someone who’s had a lot of hash browns in their life, these were absolutely outstanding. Thank you Waffle House on Lindbergh. We will be back.

I took my kids here for the first time. Food and service was excellent. The pricing was great especially for the amount of food they give you.
The floor and tables all felt a little dirty but nothing noticeable. Overall the place was exactly how I remember Waffle House. Great food but dated restaurant but they all look this way …. That’s a corporate issue !

We stopped for a quick breakfast, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, the restaurant felt a bit sticky, with dirty floors, windows, and other surfaces. While the food was decent, the lack of attention to cleanliness took away from the experience. Inexpensive options shouldn’t come at the expense of cleanliness. With a bit more focus on upkeep, this place could be much better.

Empty plates!!
I’ve been to many waffle houses but this one takes the hotcake.
Food was very good .
Service was phenomenal.
The jukebox had sweet home Alabama on it.
What more could you want?
Other than a coffee refill ofcourse….
And Maryanne our server was right there with it.
This gets 10/10 skunk points for atmosphere, flavor and nostalgia.

My friends and I had planned to go to the Denny’s up the street but were told they only had one training cook on shift and it would be as little as 30 minutes for our food. We went to this Waffle House down the road instead, and our server Jacqueline got our orders submitted quickly. Even more impressive, we noticed there was only one cook on duty at this Waffle House, too. His name is Todd. He served us in such a quick and friendly manner, and he informed us after our meal that he was new to this location. We were floored to receive the care and quality food under the same circumstances that Denny’s had (where we were told service would be slow). Todd and Jacqueline were incredible, AND in the face of a busy and rough day. Oh, and Todd gave my friend who just moved here a piece of Oreo pie to welcome him. As far as I’m concerned, this is THE Waffle House.

Typical busy Sunday morning, bunch of people waiting to be seated. The entire staff was SO NICE and EFFICIENT. Our waitress was Destiny and the service was excellent. By far the best service we have gotten in a long time from ANY restaurant. (And we just went to an expensive steak house 2 weeks back…better than that!). It really was above and beyond in my opinion because despite them being so busy everyone was being so nice, attentive, and not rushing people but still rushing in between to get people seated and food out to them. THANKYOU DESTINY YOU ARE APPRECIATED!!!

Me and a friend came in and we had drinks from a previous location. A server came up and asked us to bring them to the car, if there’s a no outside drink policy that’s totally fine and not an issue, however the way she went about it was incredibly condescending. She first asked if we had a car with us we said yes and then she reminded us “this is a restaurant yeaaahh” with this huge fake smile on her face and TOLD not asked us to bring them to the car. While taking them to the car we debated even coming back but luckily we did and got a server (Vicki) who was such a sweetie and the food was yummy.
