Classic Waffle House – I came here on a random weeknight starving after a busy day and it was so comforting to get their classic 2 egg breakfast. My boyfriend had their Delmonico stake dinner and loved it as well.

Update: My visit today was lacking & very disappointing to say the least. I hate feeling like I wasted my money. On top of waiting an addtnl 10 minutes for my food for an order, I placed online. The waffle was undercooked, not even full plus they gave me peanut butter chips when my order clearly says pecans. The grits were lumpy & tasted disgusting smdh. There is clearly no consistency at this location. On a good note the nice lady who handed off my food did apologize for the wait. I’m big on food quality & consistency so I’ll definitely be taking my money elsewhere. It’s just not worth the hassle.

The crew you had in the restaurant on 12/7/25 is a great example of customer service. You don’t get that much anymore. For it to be to be 7:40 a.m. and everyone smiling and greeting when you walk in the door says a lot. Definitely will return. Thanks y’all.

A friend and I ate lunch at Waffle House #1779 in Lawrence, Indiana on our way to North Carolina. Everything about this particular Waffle House was first rate. The food was delicious, as is the standard for most Waffle Houses. The service was exceptional. All the staff was exceedingly professional, efficient, and mostly, very pleasant . They seemed to really enjoy their jobs. The restaurant was spotlessly clean. I routinely eat at different Waffle House restaurants during my travels. This one is one of the very best I have been to. I highly recommend this particular Waffle House to anyone in its vicinity. I feel confident that you won’t be disappointed.
