I went in there late evening after 8 and had the Grits bowl and it was better than I expected it to be. And the cook, she can throw down! I saw her in there doing 8 different things at one time, I was like “you go, girl!” I was very satisfied with the food portion and the pricing. I would hope the other shifts have good cooks as well.

Ordered 2 meals only received one. Ordered a chocolate waffle that was only chocolate and Ordered bacon with my meal and received sausage. Service was horrible came in and the workers just looked at me and didn’t say anything until I finally asked if my food was ready. Im highly upset with place get home to my family with half my food missing and you cant even call the place. Also no phone number to contact owner as they stated he only shows up periodically and he doesn’t want to hear your feedback. Which u can see he’s only responded to one review.

I’m originally from the south, where there are Waffle House locations on every other block and is a heartfelt staple. To have 1 here, and close is an added bonus for sure.
The food was just what you’d expect from a Waffle House, so the 5 stars come with that in mind. I didn’t like that my hashbrowns were delivered and eaten by the time my Waffle and sausage came, but…ok.
The service was good. I don’t think we had 1 strict waitress because 2 people “tended” to us, but we never waited an inappropriate amount of time on refills, jelly, or our check. To me, that’s a win

They were busy when we walked in, so we anticipate food taking a while. But a family of 4 that got sat about 10 minutes after us got their food way before us, a party of two. Our food eventually came out, one thing at a time, after waiting almost an hour for a waffle, some eggs, and hash browns. We never even received our order of toast. No one checked up on us to see how our food was or if we needed anything. When we went to pay we told the cashier about our experience and all we got was a “sorry, we can give you a coupon”. As if we’ll be back after such a negative experience. Ridiculous paying for food we never even received.

Walk in and literally every single table is dirty with plates and food on them while the restaurant is relatively empty. Get asked to wait to sit down, stand around for another 15 minutes while being ignored. Definitely need some better management in this facility.
