Even though we had breakfast earlier, we could not pass up the opportunity to stop at a Waffle House! Although I ordered a regular waffle, I saw a waitress bring out a blueberry for someone else and commented to my husband how I should have ordered differently. Our waitress heard me and insisted on making me a blueberry waffle instead, assuring me the other would not go to waste. All the ladies working behind the counter were very friendly, engaging, and fun. It was clear they all loved working together, and it was nice to see them helping each other out with their customers. Sitting at the counter was a great way to watch them interact, and we appreciated how they all wished us safe travels back home. If I lived in the area, I’d be in here all the time. Good home cooked food with a great vibe!

The young man who is on the grill between 12 and 4 is awesome grillmaster. Waitresses are always pleasant and friendly. We enjoy this waffle house more than the one off of exit 4. Attitudes and atmosphere is so much better.

Depending on the shift this place can go from 5 stars to -3. Tonight’s experience deserves recognition for making all other bad experiences look better. Took ten minutes to get service, an additional twenty for our order to get called in to the cook. Would be understandable if the place was jam packed. But a Monday night, with only two other tables to serve. Could have been overlooked if the food had been worth eating. Better luck next time I guess.
